Hello,

Dear ones.

Today is a rainy,

Autumny day here in South Africa at the Southern Top.

I had a request for meditations on creativity,

So I'm sitting by the crackling fire,

Listening to the pitter-patter of the rain,

And thinking of you.

So,

Here goes.

Let's awaken the river of creativity.

Creativity is not something we do,

It is who we are,

When we let ourselves be.

Welcome,

Dear soul.

You've arrived at a sacred pause in your day,

A moment just for you,

To return,

To soften,

To listen again to the quiet rhythm within,

The whisper of inspiration that lives beneath the noise.

Allow yourself now to come home to your breath,

To your body,

To the beautiful,

Boundless space of your being.

Let your body begin to settle.

Find a position that feels supportive,

Receptive,

And open,

Perhaps seated or lying down.

Wherever you are,

Let your spine be tall,

Let your heart gently lift,

Let your belly soften.

Now close your eyes,

If that feels safe,

And take a deep breath in through your nose.

Hold it for a moment,

And slowly exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Inhale,

Drawing in light,

Openness,

Possibility,

And exhale,

Letting go of all that is heavy,

Tight,

Or known.

Let yourself be breathed.

Let this breath carry you inward,

Into the stillness,

Into the mystery,

Into the canvas of your soul.

Now gently bring your awareness to your head,

To the space behind your eyes,

To your temples.

Notice any tension there,

And soften it with breath.

Bring awareness to your jaw,

Unclench,

Release.

Let your tongue rest gently.

Feel into your throat,

The sacred space of voice and expression.

Let it be open,

Fluid,

Let it soften.

Continue to scan downward,

Your shoulders,

Arms,

Hands.

Feel gravity anchoring you,

Each breath releasing more tension,

Each breath inviting more ease.

Now your chest,

Your heart,

The quiet drum of your deepest truths.

Let it be wide and welcoming.

Your belly,

The seat of your gut wisdom.

Let it expand and relax.

Your hips,

Your legs,

Your feet,

Rooted into the earth,

Supported by the deep hum of life beneath you.

Now imagine deep within your being a hidden spring,

A pool of shimmering golden water.

This is your creative source.

It has always been here,

Pure,

Wild,

Infinite.

Watch as the spring begins to star,

Ripples of light,

Waves of inspiration.

You don't need to force it,

Only feel it.

It knows the way.

Let the spring become a rubber,

Flowing gently through you,

Carrying ideas,

Images,

Colours,

Words,

Music,

New ways of seeing,

New ways of being.

The river is curious.

It weaves through your body,

Washing away doubt,

Fear and resistance.

It clears the debris of judgement and comparison.

And it whispers,

You were born to create,

Not to impress,

Not to perfect,

But to express,

To play,

To feel,

To bring forth what lives inside you.

With each breath,

I open to the infinite creativity within me.

My imagination flows freely and abundantly.

I trust in my unique expression.

I release perfection and invite play.

I am a channel for beauty,

Truth and originality.

Creativity is my birthright.

Creativity is my joy.

Feel the river still flowing within you,

A part of you,

Always.

And know you can return to the source any time you pause,

Any time you listen.

Begin to bring gentle movement into your fingers,

Your toes.

Perhaps roll your shoulders or sway a little.

Let your breath deepen.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes softly.

Return to the world,

Carrying this quiet fire of inspiration with you.

You are a vessel of wonder.

Let your light be seen.

And I trust this brings joy to your day.

Let's create together.

And much love until we meet yet again.
