A poem by beloved Candice Felton.

What I already know,

Closing my eyes to remember what I already know,

Trying to wake up after I woke up.

The trees know the secret,

Rooted in the ground while bending in the wind.

The sun knows when to rise,

Nature sings even with decay.

Why do we fight the tides?

Somewhere there is a thread holding this vastness together,

This divine orchestration of life.

I bow in acknowledgement before this translucent beauty.

May its mystery fill me with wonder and grace,

That I may be a reflection of the perfection in my perfect imperfection.

Thank you,

Dear listener,

And thank you so much,

Candice.
