Hi Unique Learners,
This is part 2 of Affirmations for Students.
And let's get started as you already know the drill.
And otherwise check out number 1,
Affirmations for Students.
So get comfortable.
Go inwards and close your eyes.
Focus on your breath.
And I invite you to take a deep breath in through the mouth.
Hold it.
And also an out breath through the mouth,
Completely emptying the lung.
So deep breath in.
Hold it.
And out.
Longer than your inner.
So deep breath in.
Hold it.
And completely emptying your lungs.
One more deep breath in.
And out.
And go back to your natural breathing.
How does that feel?
And now please repeat the following affirmations with me.
I am not letting my inner critic disrupt my flow.
Any work is better than no work.
Keep it simple scholar.
The work I do today will make it easier to do my work tomorrow.
By working every day it makes it easier to work the next day.
I am doing my best and my best varies.
Keep focused.
I can do it.
I can make this work.
I am enjoying the process.
I am remembering that this is not my life's work.
It's just the key to the club.
It is not the end of the world if I miss something.
I am building on existing scholarship and everyone is adding something like the way I am doing right now.
I am thriving today.
It is not supposed to be my best piece of work,
It's supposed to be my first.
I can decide later whether it's any good and for now I am just going to do my best.
I don't have to write this,
I choose to write this and it's mine.
Doing anything towards my goal is helpful.
Slow and steady gets me to the finish line.
I have weaknesses but I also have strengths.
I can write a good draft today.
I can recognize the imposter syndrome.
I can act upon imposter syndrome.
I can recognize procrastination.
I can act upon procrastinating behavior.
I am working towards my future goal.
I am worthy.
I am a motivated student.
I am doing the best I can today.
I am trusting the process.
I am a student,
Hence I have to learn.
I can be compassionate towards myself today.
I feel deep in my heart the motivation why I am doing this.
And that's it for today.
Thank you unique learners for being here.
Keep repeating these affirmations and otherwise join the circle,
Student and academic wellbeing.
Namaste.
May you be well,
May you be loved and may you be safe.
