Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Close down your eyes.
Start to bring your attention to your breath.
Slow it down.
Deepen your breath with every inhale.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Notice any tension or tightness in your toes or arches.
With every exhale,
Release any tension held in your feet.
Feel free to move your body to allow the tension to release.
Move your awareness up through your legs,
Your calves,
Knees,
Thighs.
Relax your muscles.
Allow your legs to go limp and heavy.
Now bring your attention to your abdomen.
This area holds a lot of stress.
Notice if there's any bracing,
Tension or discomfort.
As you breathe,
Visualize the energy entering in through your nose with your inhale,
Traveling down through your spine all the way into your belly.
Repeat this visualization with every inhale.
Feel that flow of energy traveling down into your belly.
And with each breath,
Allow your belly to soften further.
Notice how it expands further upwards and to the sides with every inhale.
Stay here and enjoy this feeling.
And move your attention up to your chest and shoulders.
Let your shoulders melt downwards.
Feel the energetic opening of your chest.
And feel this relaxation run down through your arms and fingers.
Feel the heaviness of your upper body.
Notice any tingling in your fingertips.
And pull your energy up to your face and jaw.
Relax the area in between your eyebrows.
Unclench your jaw.
Allow yourself to yawn or sigh or make any noises that wish to come forth from your body.
Allow it to release any stress,
Tension or stored emotions.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And sigh it out through your mouth.
And again,
Inhale.
Exhale through your mouth,
Letting go of any stress in the body.
Let it exit through your breath.
And one last time,
Deep inhale.
And final exhale.
Allow your body to settle into a state of complete relaxation.
Where your digestion can flow freely.
