Guided meditation on happiness and peace as we release fears anxieties and worries with Karen Noonan and yoga knives I welcome you to this healing guided meditation I am Karen Noonan and I feel blessed and honored that you have chosen to take this healing journey with me I've been studying and teaching healing movement therapies yoga meditation and the workings of the mind and brain for more than 35 years now and it is my greatest wish and prayer that this healing meditation brings you great comfort and strength at this time and always may you find greater peace and joy through this experience beautiful soul and may you be relieved of the suffering that stems from fear stress anxiety and depression this meditation is best practiced daily for 21 days or more every time you practice your mind will become more positive as you're creating new neural pathways that are more positive happy and peaceful creating the space for you to be free of worries stress and fears we are living in uncertain times and so many of us are feeling confused lonely or lost I have invoked God's powerful army to protect each one of us as I do in any meditation I teach archangels Michael Gabriel Raphael and urile are with us as we listen to this meditation and always and always in the name of God divine creator higher power or universe I have also asked that Jesus be present to further enhance our meditation experience as we move from fear to faith and towards unconditional love towards all beings know that you are a powerful being and capable of great things you are not your fears and you are fully capable of returning to your natural state of happiness no matter what it is that you're experiencing at any given moment nothing is permanent know that you are not alone trust to that this shall pass and have faith that all will be well may you and yours be blessed beyond measure now and always so let's get started take a moment now to sit to yourself make yourself comfortable I recommend lying down on the floor your math or your bed for the ceiling meditation if lying on the floor try using a pillow or rolled blanket under your thighs to support the natural curves of your spine your legs should be relaxed and free there is no need to hold your posture now take a deep breath in and hold it and let go completely as you exhale you arms are relaxed and free resting comfortably at your sides the palms turned up to accept the blessings of the universe relax the shoulders by pressing them down and away from your ears make any adjustments that you need to make shimming your hips shaking arms wiggling ankles fingers and toes moving your head from side to side now take a long slow and deep breath in hold it for a moment release and let it go completely with a sigh it might help to think of yourself as a cat lying down in front of a warm cozy fire on a cold winter's night completely relaxed breathe in the golden light given off by the glow of the flames and feel all tension melting away with your exhalation take another deep breath and slowly draw in the golden light think about drawing it into your body heart and mind bringing in all the peace contentment and happiness that you could possibly contain and as you breathe out relax every muscle and release any stressful thoughts or feelings with your intention to find greater peace and happiness in body mind and spirit do this a few times with every exhale feel your body becoming more and more relaxed heavier and heavier let go of fear let go of what you have no control over let go and surrender to this moment now breathe in and sigh the breath out while releasing all tensions and concerns all worries and fears know that you are safe know that your loved ones are safe your home and your belongings are safe and so is your livelihood it is safe for you to let go completely and to relax and surrender your mind body and soul to a higher power and to this moment now have faith trust trust that you're exactly where you are meant to be now you you're feeling more relaxed now more relaxed than you have felt in a long time you start to feel weightless now there are no boundaries you can do anything and be anything that you think or feel focus all of your awareness on heart center in the very center of your chest be present in heart center with full awareness to welcome each new brain with a sense of wonder at life itself with gratitude for the gift of this moment with gratitude for this brain feel and hold on to this brain it is the only time you will ever experience this particular brain once it is passed there will be a new brain a new moment to experience in gratitude and all for the wondrous workings of your perfect and beautiful body this vehicle through which you navigate this physical world you are feeling relaxed you are ready to let go of body and mind you are prepared to release all negative thoughts any fears or stress that you have been holding on to you are ready to embrace greater happiness and peace you will arise see each thought that arises as a fluffy white cloud floating across a calm clear blue sky I will count slowly from one to five and as I count with each number you will observe a single fluffy white cloud floating across the clear blue sky one cloud at a time when you hear the number five you will feel completely relaxed ready for your journey towards better health in body mind and spirit ready to be open to greater happiness peace and content one observing a single cloud floating gently in across the sky watch as it floats slowly all of your awareness on this one fluffy cloud to another cloud floats across the sky three starting to feel more relaxed now sinking deeply into the surface on which you lie for feeling even more relaxed surrender just let go five feeling completely relaxed now ready for your journey towards better health in body mind and spirit ready to be open to receive greater happiness peace and contentment smile breathe deeply in and as you breathe out relax you find yourself in a forest on a beautiful warm and clear day this is a magical enchanted place take your time and look around you allow yourself to feel and acknowledge what comes up for you you feel safe as you find yourself enveloped by the vibrant yet peaceful feeling of life and understand the life force of the forest of the trees the plants the animals birds insects an entire world in itself your feet are bare as you stand on the soft brown you feel the earth beneath you and breathe in the scent of the earth grounding you connecting you to all that is pure and natural to all living things you are surrounded by tall beautiful trees lash with thick green leaves you hear the rustling of the leaves as a breeze blows gently through the trees you notice a hidden path abundant with wild flowers in full bloom exquisite in their unusual shapes and colors butterflies flipped from flower to flower and you observe their movement as though in a dream you take in the sweet exotic fragrance of the flowers you hear the sweet sound of birds singing you start to walk slowly along the path one step at a time taking all the time you need to experience this moment fully observe your brain as you continue to connect with your brain feel the rhythm as you breathe the rhythm as your chest gently rises and falls and continue to take one step at a time one breath at a time the path becomes more narrow and ends as you come to a clearing in the very heart of this dense forest in front of you is a pond perfectly still the Sun shimmering down on the water's surface this pond is filled with crystal clear natural spring water and you know that this water is imbued with magical healing properties what color is the water it can be any kind of your choosing the water is inviting and you are drawn towards the magical qualities of the water in this beautiful pond you are alone and you feel safe you quietly unrobe and gently lower yourself into the water the temperature is perfect and you smile you stand still and look upward towards the clear blue sky and allow your head to tilt backwards as you feel a sense of freedom and surrender in this moment the pool is quite shallow and you're standing easily safely allow your heart to expand and to open as you throw your arms back like a bird in flight and spin slowly around and around in a clockwise direction until you feel a little dizzy dizzy with happiness at the joy and magic of this moment and in this glorious magical place there is a natural seat at just the perfect spot in the pond you sit comfortably with your entire body immersed in the magical waters with only your head and then exposed you notice that the forest has become quite still Oh all is quiet and at peace only the gentle calls of the birds become more noticeable sounding bright happy inspiring you feel yourself moving deeper and deeper into a state of calm and you feel completely relaxed although positive or negative simply melting away into nothingness into the magical waters at this time and from the sacred place of calm and safety the sanctuary allow any and all fears to surface acknowledge and accept the sensations that arise with the fear of tears as they surface simply be with them observe you take your time often the halt fear has over us is more powerful than the actual reality of what we are afraid of whatever that may be there is no judgment we merely observe as you relax you experience the stillness and clarity of the warm water which surrounds and envelopes you like the safety of being in your mother's womb breathe in and out deeply and slowly allow your fears to drain from your heart mind and body you feel as though they are leaving your body and melting into the magical healing waters surrounding you much like wax melts and slowly drips down a candle towards the surface on which the candle sits take your time let it all go you don't need to hold on to any fears you don't need to hold on to any negative thinking you are in control you can do anything you put your mind to let it all go and smile a peaceful gentle smile the smile of one who knows that all is well your mind expands as you begin to feel everything and nothing you feel the weight of your body and the weightlessness you feel larger than life and smaller than an atom you are a timeless being you your mind is expensive you are completely relaxed an empty vessel waiting to be filled with all that is good and positive you are limitless stay here for a while fill yourself with this experience of stillness and silence feeling at peace with yourself and the world when thoughts arise simply let them go and return your awareness to the sounds of the birds communicating or the rustle of the wind between the trees or the water which surrounds and envelopes you always with the feeling and knowing that you are safe when it is time to return I will guide you home you you you you slowly bring your awareness back to the magical healing you feel deeply relaxed peaceful and completely refreshed now it is time to start your journey back home slowly stand and emerge quietly from this magical healing pool choose to leave any negative thoughts or fears behind you in the magical healing waters choose to bring back with you the inner stillness peace and tranquility of this experience the happiness as you emerge from the water you are aware of the gentle breeze on your body and you notice how wonderful and free you feel you have let it all go you can smile a peaceful gentle smile the smile of one who knows that all is well and that all will be well moving forward you fully robed walk slowly back towards the forest path noticing the beauty of the trees the flowers the open skies what's more feeling your connection to the earth feeling more positive peaceful and happier than before know that whatever negativity you may or may not have experienced coming into this practice it is now gone you feel more positive happier and more excited about your life and your day than ever and you feel ready to take on your role in the healing of our planet one stick and one brain at a time you matter what you do feel think and express matters you now if you are practicing this meditation at bedtime you may choose to fall into a deep and restful sleep you will naturally allow this to happen when you hear the number one as I count down from five to one when you hear the number one you will let go and fall into a deep and restful sleep resting in the knowledge that all is well in your world in the knowledge that you and your loved ones are safe and happy you awake in the morning getting better and stronger than before feeling refreshed and renewed with a more positive and happier mindset free of anxiety or fears content and at peace in the knowledge that all is well in your world if this is a morning or midday practice for you as I count down from five to one when you hear the number one you will feel ready to return to your day feeling better and stronger than before happier and more positive completely refreshed and renewed free of anxieties or fears content and at peace in the knowledge that all is well in your world and that your loved ones are safe and happy five for three two one if you are ready for dream time I wish you a deep restful blessed and peaceful night's sleep if you have your day ahead of you you'll be feeling excited inspired and ready to rejoin the world wiggle your toes and start making gentle movements to energize your body and mind taking your time draw your knees to your chest and give them a hug to stretch your bag roll to your right side and then press yourself up to sit I thank
