Find a quiet space in your home free from distractions.
Grab an essential oil of your choice.
My preference is always lavender.
Once you have your essential oil,
Settle yourself down.
If you don't have an essential oil,
That's okay too.
So settle yourself up in your bed or sitting cross-legged on your yoga mat or on a pillow.
Sit up nice and tall,
Close down the eyes,
Allow the hands to rest on the knees in a relaxed position.
Pop some essential oil onto your palm and rub your palms together,
Deeply inhaling the oil.
Fully arriving where you are today,
Take the biggest breath that you've taken all day.
Inhaling deeply through the nose and reach your arms up over your head and bring your palms together in a prayer position to your heart center.
Exhale,
Release the breath,
Let yourself sigh out.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale,
Sigh out.
Repeat this three times,
Raising your arms up to the sky and bringing them back down,
Palms to heart center.
Inhale,

Continuing to breathe,
Feeling a deep connection with the body,
Quietening down the mind,
Returning to the breath.
Relax your palms back to rest on your knees,
Sitting up nice and tall in a relaxed seated pose,
Eyes gently closed.
Repeat the inhale and exhale,

Noticing any passing thoughts,
Acknowledging them without judgment and letting them go.

Continue a steady breath for five more breaths in your own time,
