Aligning the 3 Dan Tians to synchronise body, mind, and spirit. This Qi Gong session is aimed at creating a clear mind whilst allow the primary Qi channels to open up so Qi can flow strong and free. It is very useful as a recovery session after exercise or periods of fatigue, as well as for improvements in overall vitality. This mediation is best done either standing or seated but can be done lying down if it is more accommodating.

Hello,

Everyday warriors.

Welcome to a Qigong session with me,

Joel,

From Yin Yang Method.

Today we will be doing a standing meditation.

You don't need to have any practice with standing meditation.

And if you would prefer to sit in a chair with your feet planted on the ground,

That will work just fine as well.

Find a comfortable place.

Relax your arms by your side if you're standing,

Sinking the weight into the feet,

The knees,

The hips,

Shoulders softening.

Or if you're in a chair,

Place your hands gently in your lap,

Still allowing the whole body to relax and sink down.

Now imagine that there are three glowing spheres gently pulsating within your body.

One sphere will sit deep in the lower abdomen.

One sphere in the middle of the chest.

And the third right between the middle of your eyes,

What is commonly referred to as the third eye.

Think about these spheres and then try to feel the spheres within you.

Are these spheres stacked perfectly in alignment,

Directly on top of each other,

So that a skewer could penetrate them directly through?

Or are they slightly askew?

Perhaps there's moments where they're in perfect alignment,

But they're slowly swaying,

Shifting from side to side,

Often out of alignment,

But capturing moments of perfection.

Simply visualize these three spheres.

Don't try to control them.

Breathe slowly,

Deeply,

Finely,

Softly.

See if the spheres start to settle,

So that their alignment syncs up naturally.

Continue to breathe through the controlled cadence,

Observing the spheres becoming more and more in alignment.

These are the three dantians,

The lower,

The middle,

And the upper dantian.

And as they come into alignment,

We're able to create a clear,

Focused mind and open up the major chi channels.

Through this,

We can gain a far stronger flow of chi,

Both in the small and the great heavenly circulation.

Through this,

We can increase the overall vitality of body and mind.

You can even use this method to quickly recover from tiredness or fatigue or heavy training workout session.

So continue that soft,

Controlled breathing cadence,

Allowing the spheres to come into perfect alignment.

It's possible that this will not happen in today's session.

It's possible you've already fallen into perfect sync.

Everyone is different on their journey.

All we need is patience and continued practice.

The alignment is guaranteed to improve over time.

That's all from me today,

Warriors.

I'm going to leave you here.

You are of course welcome to continue focusing on the alignment of your three dantian spheres.

Whether that be out of alignment,

Trying to bring them in or in perfect alignment and holding them steady,

Just sit with it comfortably or stand with it comfortably for as long as you feel you are getting great benefit from it or as time allows.

When you've finished,

Just gently open the eyes as feels appropriate.

Gently shake out any excess chi by softly shaking the hands,

The feet and the body.

And then go about enjoying your improved vitality for the rest of the day or into the night.

Thank you.
