Start your day with these empowering (yet gentle) affirmations tailored for sensitive individuals. There is a brief pause between each affirmation so you can repeat them out loud or silently to yourself. You'll notice some of them are framed as questions; this is so that your subconscious mind focuses on finding reasons to believe them! Good morning.

Today is a new day,

A fresh start,

A new beginning in the story of your life.

Stretch your body,

Shake your hands,

Your head.

Let the energies of yesterday fade away.

Let the dreams vanish.

Right now,

You are a blank canvas,

And you get to design your day.

Take a deep breath to wake up all your senses,

Deep into your lungs,

All the way down to your stomach,

And breathe out.

Let each affirmation sink in.

Let every word vibrate in your body.

Embody these truths,

For they are your new reality.

I am here.

I am alive.

I am made of life.

Today I feel all my feelings without judging them.

I understand feelings are like waves,

Coming and going.

I allow myself to express my feelings in healthy ways.

I give myself permission to accept myself.

I accept myself.

I am enough.

I am more than enough.

I do not need to compare myself to others.

I let go of unnecessary guilt and shame.

I accept my quirks and flaws and find them endearing.

I recognize my own value.

Why am I such a valuable person?

I am a sensitive person,

And that's okay.

My sensitivity is just a trait.

It doesn't define who I am.

I am more than the sum of my traits.

I embrace my sensitivity.

I recognize my sensitivity can be a gift.

Why is my sensitivity such a gift?

My daily choices reflect my personal values.

I am safe.

I protect my energy.

I stand up for myself.

I am not required to please others.

I am the master of my own emotions and let others be responsible for theirs.

I release the need to make other people's emotions my own.

No one gets to define me.

I do not have to be everything for everybody else.

I am allowed to say no.

Why is it that I am allowed to say no?

I have boundaries.

I choose to connect with others with an open heart knowing my boundaries keep me safe.

I smile at those I interact with,

Spreading joy and light in their lives.

Life is full of peaceful,

Harmonious moments.

Life is full of joy and abundance.

I embody this feeling of joy and abundance.

I deserve to feel good in life because joy is the purpose of life.

I ask for help when I need it.

I am deeply supported.

I balance my compassion for others with compassion for myself.

I deserve love and understanding.

I forgive myself for my mistakes.

Why is it so important to forgive myself?

I learn the lessons from my past and let it go.

I give myself permission to slow down and do things at my own pace.

I handle one day at a time and take things one step at a time.

I am present in the moment.

This moment is all there is.

I have all the time in the world.

I take time for myself and for the things I love.

I take care of myself.

Self-care is my priority.

I take care of my body,

My mind,

My soul.

Why is it so important to take care of myself?

My body knows what I need and I listen to it regularly.

I nourish myself with healthy foods.

I remember to take deep breaths throughout the day.

I speak kindly to myself.

I choose environments that nurture me.

I give myself permission to rest when I need it.

I am grateful to my body for keeping me alive.

I am grateful to my mind for working relentlessly to keep me safe.

I foster meaningful relationships with people who are right for me.

I am grounded and connected to the web of life.

The universe has my back.

Good things happen to me.

Why do I deserve all the good things that come to me?

I find beauty wherever I go.

I fall in love with details that others don't seem to notice and it fills me with joy.

I enjoy the things I love even if others don't love them.

I let my intuition guide me.

I always listen to my inner voice.

I am a gentle,

Caring person.

I am a gift to this world.

I enjoy my life knowing it is so much more than work and commitment.

I am allowed to have a bad day.

I am allowed to have unproductive days.

I am in the right place.

I trust myself in my decisions.

I am constantly learning and growing.

I am always growing even when it doesn't feel like it.

I let go of imperfection and choose progress instead.

I accept that I am a work in progress,

Improving every day.

After facing a challenge I develop new wisdom and strength.

I have come so far and I know I can go much further.

I see myself for who I truly am and I let others see me for who I truly am.

I trust everything is happening for my highest good and the good of all.

I make a difference in the world just by being myself.

My kindness and compassion help others embrace theirs.

Breathe in these affirmations and pick one word to define the energy of your day.

How do you want to feel today?

Choose a simple word like happy,

Calm,

Present,

Powerful,

Healthy,

Loving.

Visualize that word floating over your head and then imagine it entering your crown chakra on the top of your head.

Let it fall into you and travel through your body,

Filling it up with that energy.

If you associate a colour with that word,

Imagine that colour spreading through your whole body like a bright light.

Embody that energy.

You are one with it.

Thank you this was very helpful as I begin my morning routine with affirmations and this is a new practice for me. I spent some time writing some of them down that pertain to me and I want to live out my life and who I want to be in this world. It was super helpful because I am struggling with my physical health and I am not sleeping well so today I go out into the world with some powerful affirmations and I can come back to these as I wrote them down.
