There is a place so safe,

So soft,

That nothing sharp can reach it,

A place so warm and light that nothing dark can touch it.

It is your tender heart,

Beautiful soul,

Always pure,

Untouched,

A lovely treasure since its inception.

Whatever happened today,

Whatever hard things tried to penetrate that perfect cocoon,

Your tender heart prevails,

It always does.

It is time to retreat into it,

It is time to come home.

Here,

You are safe,

You are safe,

Let the shield fall away and melt into this moment.

Perhaps your limbs feel heavy from storing up tension,

It's not easy to feel it all,

And sometimes we escape these sensations by staying up in our heads,

But now you can give yourself permission to drop into your body and tend to it with all the love in your heart.

That fuel is inexhaustible,

And you can soothe,

Heal and recharge your body with the help of this powerful organ,

The same way it constantly pumps blood in order to keep you alive.

Let's journey through your body.

Is there tension in your jaw,

Or on your eyes,

On your shoulders?

Is there a knot in your chest,

Or a flutter in your stomach?

Your body deserves so much compassion,

So much care,

Let your heart send love to each muscle,

And as they loosen up,

Allow every cell of your body to relax.

Relax your hands,

Your arms,

Your throat,

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your Fill your stomach with a deep breath and relax it as you exhale.

Relax your pelvis,

Relax your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your feet.

Then send love to your back and shoulders for all the weight they carry.

A lot of that weight doesn't belong to you,

You can't carry the full load of the world.

Let it go,

Surrender it with each exhale,

And allow those muscles to relax.

Now send love to that beautiful head of yours.

Send love to your sensitive brain and give it permission to slow down.

There is no hurry,

Whatever concerns you have,

They can wait until tomorrow.

This is your time,

This is your safe space.

You deserve this moment of peace,

You deserve to feel relaxed,

You deserve a good night's sleep.

Relax your face,

Let your forehead soften as your mind relaxes.

Send love to your eyes for they have the amazing ability to see beyond the surface.

Relax your cheeks,

Relax your nose as you breathe.

Relax your mouth,

Your chin.

All these beautiful elements deserve all the love in your heart.

I'm going to ask you to pick a moment from today that felt really special,

Any moment when you felt joyful or peaceful,

And feed your heart with that memory,

Relive that moment.

Do you hear that?

Your heart is responding to this,

As it beats it says two words over and over,

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

It is thanking you for feeding it with beauty,

It is thanking life for moments like this,

It is thanking the comfort and safety of this physical space.

And all it asks of you is that you breathe deeply,

Relax and go to sleep,

Because it is watching over you as it always does.

That treasure in your chest is the most precious thing.

As you drift off tonight,

Be proud of it.
