Hello,
Dear beautiful one.
Welcome to this guided meditation for the full moon in Taurus.
I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Wendy,
And it's my honor to guide you through this practice.
Welcome.
Full moons always signify a potent and powerful time.
A time of culmination and completion,
As well as a time for making space for new beginnings.
Every full moon illuminates something we're meant to see clearly.
This full moon in Taurus brings a steady grounding energy,
Inviting us to slow down Savor life's simple pleasures and appreciate what is already here.
Taurus is ruled by Venus,
So this moon also brings up themes of love,
Money,
And self-worth.
In this month.
Venus's retrograde.
And this invites us to revisit what we truly value.
Meanwhile.
.
.
The Sun is moving through deep and transformative Scorpio.
The sign of emotional depth.
Intimacy.
And rebirth.
This creates a gentle tug of war.
Taurus longs for peace and comfort,
While Scorpio longs to go deeper and transform.
And then there's Pluto,
The planet of profound change.
Pluto is gently stirring up what has been hidden.
It's bringing something we've been avoiding into the light so we can see it clearly.
This is a time to pause and find our balance and to look at what we no longer need to hold on to.
This full moon is often called the hunter's moon.
A time to prepare for the quiet of winter and to release what is no longer needed.
And finally,
Shining close to the moon,
Is the beautiful fixed star Mira.
Like Taurus,
Mirac carries the energy of Venus.
It's a star of beauty,
Harmony,
And grace.
Today we'll let the light of Mirac guide us home.
Here's how our practice will unfold.
We'll begin by relaxing the body.
And setting a heartfelt intention.
Then we'll move our awareness through the body.
Rest in our breath.
And journey together into the light of the Taurus moon and the star Mira.
We'll close with affirmations and then we'll gently return to waking consciousness.
There is nothing you need to do except listen and follow along with my voice.
So let's settle in now.
Find a position.
Where your body can be completely at ease.
Lying down is lovely.
With a pillow under your head.
And a blanket to cover you to keep you warm.
Sitting upright with your spine supported also works beautifully.
Make any last adjustments now.
And when you're ready.
Let your body become still.
Softly close your eyes if they're not already closed.
And then let's take a few cleansing breaths together.
So take a deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out through your mouth.
Again,
A deep breath in.
And let it go.
One more time.
Deep breath in.
And let it all go.
Taurus is the sign of the Earth,
Of the body,
And of the senses.
Feel how fully you are supported right now.
By the bad.
The floor.
The Earth beneath you.
Feel the Earth holding you.
You don't have to hold yourself up.
Let the Earth do that.
And become aware of the sounds around you.
Sounds far away?
Sounds closer.
And the quiet sound of your own breath.
Let each sound simply come and go.
Like clouds passing by a full moon.
And now let's gently invite your Sankalpa,
Your heartfelt intention.
Under this Taurus full moon,
You might let your Sankalpa speak to what you value.
Perhaps what you want to keep.
And what you are ready to release.
If you'd like,
You may borrow one of these.
I welcome beauty into my life.
Or I release what no longer serves me.
Repeat your intention silently to yourself three times.
Letting it settle into your body like a seed settling into rich dark soil.
There you are.
The seed is planted.
Let it rest now.
And trust it will grow.
Now we'll travel through the body.
And this time,
Imagine your awareness.
As a soft beam of moonlight.
As I name each place,
Allow the moonlight to land there for just a moment.
Allow the moonlight to illuminate it.
And then move on.
There's no need to relax anything or move anything.
Only notice.
And if you happen to lose your place along the way.
Simply rejoin by focusing on and listening to my voice.
The moonlight comes to rest at the center of your forehead,
Between your eyebrows.
Feel it gently glowing there.
Now let it drift down to your throat.
To the soft,
Hollow notch at the base of your throat.
Simply notice this place.
The moonlight travels to your right shoulder.
Your right upper arm.
The inner bend of your right elbow.
Your right forearm.
Right wrist.
The palm of your right hand.
And the back of your right hand.
Your right thumb.
The tip of the index finger.
Middle finger Ring finger.
Little finger.
All five fingers of the right hand glowing at the same time.
Back to the hollow of the throat.
The moonlight travels to your left shoulder.
Your left upper arm.
The inner bend of the left elbow.
Your left forearm.
Left wrist.
The palm of your left hand.
The back of your left hand.
Your left thumb.
The tip of the index finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
All five fingers of the left hand glowing at the same time.
Back to the throat.
And down the center of the chest to your heart space.
Let the light rest here.
The right side of your chest.
The left side of your chest.
The upper belly.
The navel.
The lower belly.
The very base of your torso.
Where you meet the earth.
Now the right hip.
Right thigh.
Right kneecap.
The back of the right knee.
Right shin.
Right calf.
Right ankle.
Right heel.
The sole of the right foot.
The top of the right foot.
The big toe.
Second toe.
Third toe.
4th toe fifth little toe.
The left hip.
The left thigh.
Left kneecap.
Back of the left knee.
The left shin.
The left calf.
Left ankle.
Left heel.
The sole of the left foot.
The top of the left foot.
The big toe.
Second toe.
Third toe.
Fourth toe.
And the fifth little toe.
The moonlight sweeps to the back of the body.
To both heels.
The backs of both calves.
The backs of both thighs.
The Buttocks.
The low back.
The mid-back.
Between the shoulder blades.
The back of the neck.
The back of the head.
The crown at the top of your head.
Your face.
The forehead.
Right eyebrow.
Left eyebrow.
Right eyelid.
Left eyelid.
Right cheek.
Left cheek.
Right ear.
Left ear.
Your nose.
The tip of your nose.
Your upper lip.
Lower lip.
The place where the lips meet.
Your chin.
Your jaw.
Now let the moonlight spread.
Throughout your whole body.
The whole right side the whole left side.
The whole back.
And the whole front.
The whole body.
Glowing softly from within.
Your whole body,
Bathed in light.
Taurus and Scorpio sit opposite one another in the sky.
Like two halves of one breath.
One holding,
The other releasing.
Let's take a moment to feel these opposites in the body.
Invite a feeling of heaviness.
As though your body were made of warm,
Dense earth.
Sinking and settling in.
Impossible to move.
Let your whole body.
Feel happy.
Now let that heaviness go.
And invite lightness.
Feel as though your body were made of moonlight.
Weightless and floating just above the ground.
Heaviness.
And lightness.
Now feel both at once.
Heavy and light.
Held and free.
Anchored and floating.
And now,
Let it all go.
Now bring your attention to your natural breath.
No need to change it.
Just watch.
The way you might watch the tide of the ocean.
Feel the breath rise in your chest and your belly.
And then fall.
Rising.
And falling.
Rising.
And falling.
As you breathe in.
Imagine silver moonlight pouring in through the crown of your head.
Flowing all the way through your body to the soles of your feet.
And as you breathe out.
That light flows down into the Earth.
Dissolving anything heavy you no longer need.
Breathing in,
Moonlight filling your body.
Breathing out.
Releasing it all into the Earth.
Breathing in,
Moonlight filling your body.
And breathing out.
Releasing it into the earth.
Simply rest here now.
Allowing your breath.
To breathe itself.
Now imagine it's a crisp autumn night.
And you are standing in an open meadow.
The grass is soft beneath your bare feet.
And the earth smells rich and sweet.
You can feel the solid ground beneath you,
Supporting you.
Above you,
The full moon is rising.
Round and golden.
Her light is spilling across the meadow,
Across your hands.
And across your face.
This moon shines in Taurus,
The sign of the Earth.
Of the body.
And of all that we hold dear.
Under her light.
Everything that has unfolded in your life.
Is softly illuminated.
Notice what you are proud of.
Notice what you have tended to and grown.
And in that same light.
You might also notice what you are ready to set down.
Perhaps a habit.
A worry.
Or a weight you've carried for a long time.
You don't need to name it.
Simply let the moonlight show it to you.
And now let your gaze drift just a little to the side of the moon.
A single bright star is glowing there.
Warm.
And orange gold in color.
This is Mira.
The jewel of Andhra Madhya.
In Greek mythology.
Andromeda was a princess bound in chains before she was finally set free.
Mirak shines at Andromeda's waist,
Right where those chains once held her.
This star carries the light of liberation.
Of beauty blooming again and of grace returning.
The ancient astrologers saw Mirak as a star of Venus,
A star of love and harmony.
A reflection of the beauty that lives within you.
Long ago,
The Babylonians gave this star another name,
The one who erases.
On this full moon,
Let Mirac gently erase what no longer belongs to you,
What no longer serves you.
Feel a warm thread of light from this star finding its way down to your own waist,
To your own center,
Just below the navel.
Let it wrap around you like a soft golden sash.
Like a belt of light.
Wherever you have felt bound or held back.
Feel the light loosen the knots.
One by one.
And now,
Follow Mirac's light further out.
Out beyond the star into the deep velvet of space.
This star is your guide to the Andromeda Galaxy.
Our sister galaxy.
Into a great spiral of life.
Imagine that ancient,
Peaceful spiral surrounding you.
You are made of the same starlight.
You too belong to this vast,
Beautiful cosmos.
From this galaxy,
A gift returns to you.
The feeling of deep worthiness.
Let this feeling flow into your body.
And let it settle into your heart.
You are anchored to the Earth.
And connected to the stars.
If there is anything you're ready to release.
Place it gently into the moonlight.
Watch as it dissolves into stardust.
Into nothing at all.
Feel into what remains.
All that is truly yours.
All that is worth keeping.
Hold it gently,
Close to your heart.
Now,
As I share these words,
Let them settle in.
You may like to repeat them silently.
Or simply allow them to wash over you.
I am safe and supported.
I honor what I have grown.
I release what is no longer good for me.
I value myself and I am valued.
I am worthy of beauty,
Comfort,
And love.
I am held by the Earth.
And connected to the stars.
I am free,
Just like Andromeda.
I receive abundance with an open heart.
Now come back to your Sankalpa.
The intention you planted at the beginning.
Repeat it silently three times again.
Feeling it as already true.
I am ready to release what no longer serves me.
I embrace beauty.
And now let the images of the meadow,
The moon and the star Mirak slowly fade.
Know that their light stays with you.
Become aware of your breath again.
Perhaps it's a little deeper now.
Feel the weight of your body resting on the earth.
And feel the places where you're supported.
Notice the sounds around you.
Notice the room you are in.
Notice the temperature of the air on your skin.
If this is your bedtime practice.
You may simply stay where you are.
And drift off into sleep.
If it's not time to sleep.
You might begin to invite some small movements back into your body.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Perhaps rolling your wrists and your ankles.
Stretching in any way that feels good to you.
And you might even like to take a moment now to thank yourself.
For this gift of rest.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
I'm sending you love.
And wishing you a beautiful full moon season,
Dear one.
May love and light fill your heart,
Your body,
And your mind.
And may love and light be with you always.
Until we meet again.
Namaste.
