Hello,
Dear beautiful one.
Welcome to this full moon lunar eclipse guided meditation.
This meditation has been created specifically for the full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces,
But it can be used for any full moon or any time you are ready to release and let something go.
I'm so glad you've made space today to join me.
Welcome.
A full moon is always an invitation to reflect.
Release and let go of what's no longer needed.
But that invitation is amplified when a full moon is also an eclipse.
Whatever an ordinary full moon gently invites,
An eclipse insists on.
It doesn't just illuminate what's ready to be released,
It helps to seal it so it can truly be complete.
This eclipse arrives in Pisces,
The most intuitive,
Dreamy,
And compassionate sign of the zodiac.
So tonight isn't about pushing anything away.
It's about softening and leaning in.
Feeling and trusting.
Whatever this moon may be stirring in you.
A feeling.
A memory.
A truth you've been avoiding.
Know that you don't have to fully understand it right now.
You only need to be willing to let it rise to the surface and let it go.
You don't need to know anything about astrology to fully receive this practice today.
Simply know that you are being invited to feel what's ready to be felt.
Let it rise and let it go.
Let something you've carried for far too long to finally come to rest.
And completion.
Whatever it is.
It will unfold gently over the days and weeks ahead.
My name is Wendy,
And it's my honor to guide you through this practice today.
Welcome.
Before we begin,
Let's go over what this journey will include.
So you can settle in fully without wondering what's coming ahead.
We'll start by building your yoga nidra nest.
And settle into your most comfortable position.
Your body needs to feel completely safe and supported before anything else can happen.
From there,
We'll focus on slow,
Easy breathing that speaks directly to your nervous system.
Letting it know that it's safe to feel.
And safe to release.
Even here in the deep waters of a lunar eclipse.
Then we'll set a simple intention,
A sankalpa.
While your mind is calm and receptive.
So it can take root more deeply than it can in ordinary waking life.
Next,
We'll travel together through the body in what's called a rotation of consciousness.
This is simply a process of resting your awareness on each part of you,
One at a time.
Giving your body full permission to let go of anything it's been quietly carrying.
And after that,
We'll move into a visualization where we'll stand at the edge of a moonlit sea and watch the full moon slip into shadow.
And then return.
Will meet whatever in you is ready to be released into those waters and whatever in you is ready to rise back to the surface.
We'll close with a series of affirmations rooted in the gentle wisdom of Pisces.
Compassion,
Intuition.
And the courage to let the tide carry what no longer needs to be held.
And then will gently return to waking consciousness.
That's all there is.
Simply let my voice guide you.
And let your body do what it already knows how to do.
Settle in and relax.
If you're experiencing Yoga Nidra for the first time,
Welcome.
You are in for something truly special.
Unlike traditional meditation where you sit upright and focus,
Yoga Nidra invites you to either lie down or sit.
Be completely still and simply listen.
You may find yourself feeling deeply relaxed.
You may drift in and out of awareness.
You may even fall asleep.
And all of this is perfectly normal and welcome.
The healing and integration happen whether you are consciously aware or not.
Simply allow yourself to be guided and trust that your body,
Mind and soul will receive exactly what they need.
All that is asked is that you get comfortable.
Close your eyes and listen.
Let's begin by finding your most comfortable position for rest.
You might lie on your back in a traditional Shavasana position.
Or you may choose to sit in a chair.
Find whatever feels most natural to you.
And then use whatever props are available for your comfort.
A pillow beneath your head.
A pillow for under your knees.
And a blanket to keep you warm.
Make your final adjustments now.
Creating your cozy cocoon of comfort all around you.
Your sanctuary for rest.
Allow your body to be held completely by the surface beneath you.
When you're ready.
Gently close your eyes,
If they're not already closed.
And then let's begin with a few cleansing breaths.
Taking a deep inhale through your nose.
Feeling your lungs completely.
And exhale slowly through your mouth with a long sigh.
As if you're letting go of everything you've been carrying.
Again,
A deep inhale through your nose.
And a slow exhale through your mouth.
One more time.
Deep breath in.
And let it go completely.
And now let your breath return to its own natural rhythm.
No need to control it.
Simply notice.
The rising.
And folly.
All on its own.
Like the gentle rise and fall.
Of the Thai.
Bring your awareness now to the weight of your body.
Feel where your body is resting on the surface beneath you.
And with your next exhale.
Allow yourself to sink just a little more into that support.
You are being held.
You do not have to hold yourself up right now.
And now,
Here at the threshold of the full moon eclipse.
Let's plant an intention.
A simple statement offered to your subconscious while it's open and receptive.
If you already carry an intention close to your heart.
Silently offer it to yourself now.
In a few simple words,
As if it's already true.
If nothing comes to mind,
You're welcome to borrow this one.
Silently repeat in your own inner voice.
I release what is complete.
And I trust what my heart already knows.
I release what is complete.
And I trust what my heart already knows.
Let this intention settle beneath the surface.
Like something sinking gently to the bottom of a calm sea.
Simply let it rest.
Now we'll move through what's called a rotation of consciousness.
A gentle journey of awareness through your body.
You don't need to do anything.
Or move anything.
Simply let your awareness travel to each place I name.
Like moonlight moving slowly across water.
Bring your attention to your right hand.
Your right thumb.
Index finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger little finger.
The palm of your right hand.
The back of your right hand.
Your right wrist.
Your right forearm.
Your right elbow.
Your right upper arm.
Your right shoulder.
Now the left hand.
Your left thumb.
Index finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
The palm of your left hand.
The back of your left hand.
Your left wrist.
Your left forearm.
Your left elbow.
Your left upper arm.
Your left shoulder.
Both shoulders now,
Softening.
You're next.
Your throat,
Where your voice lives.
Your jaw releasing.
Your lips.
Your cheeks.
Your eyes,
Heavy and still.
Your forehead.
Smoothing the crown of your head.
Your chest rising and falling like a slow tide.
Your heart at the very center.
Your belly.
Soft.
And unguarded.
Your lower back.
Your hips.
Your right leg.
Your right thigh.
Your right knee.
Your right calf.
Your right ankle.
Your right foot.
And every toe on your foot.
Your left leg.
Your left thigh.
Your left knee.
Your left calf.
Your left ankle.
Your left foot.
And every toe on your foot.
Now feel your whole body all at once.
Completely still.
Completely supported.
Completely saved.
Let your awareness rest now on your breath one more time.
Rising and falling.
Like water finding its own level.
And let your awareness rest on your heart.
Soft.
Open unhurried.
Notice without any effort if there is anything there asking to be felt.
A sadness.
A tenderness.
Alonging.
A relief.
Whatever is there.
Let it simply be there.
You don't need to fix it or understand it.
You only need to acknowledge and witness it.
Now,
In your mind's eye.
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a calm,
Dark sea.
Beneath a full and silver moon.
The moon is high above you.
Glowing brightly.
Placing a path of light across the water.
That leads all the way to your feet.
It has always been there.
Faithful and full.
Reflecting back to you everything you felt this past cycle.
Slowly,
You notice the light beginning to change.
At first,
It's barely noticeable.
And then you notice the Earth's shadow moving across the face of the moon.
Little by little,
The silver light dims.
The path across the water grows fainter and more golden.
And the air grows still and hushed.
And then,
For a few long moments.
.
.
The moon glows a deep,
Quiet red gold.
Half in shadow.
Half-remembering its own light.
You are standing in the soft,
Dim hush.
The sea barely moving beside you.
This dimming is not something to fear.
It's simply the moon completing something.
Like a held breath at the close of a long story.
In this hush,
Let yourself feel whatever is ready to be released.
Perhaps an old grief.
An old worry.
A role you've outgrown.
Or a way of coping that no longer serves who you're becoming.
There is no rush to name it.
Simply allow it.
And let it fall from your shoulders into the water at your feet.
Watch it dissolve the way salt dissolves into the sea.
Completely.
And without struggle.
Let yourself feel how much lighter it is to set something down.
Than to keep carrying it.
And now.
Slowly.
At the edge of the shadow.
The moon begins to brighten again.
The silver light returns and spreads gently across the water.
Restoring an illuminated path.
All the way back to your feet.
This returning light carries something with it.
Let yourself sense,
Even faintly,
A quiet clarity settling in you now.
Not a loud new beginning.
But a soft knowing.
A truth your heart has held all along,
Finally rising to the surface.
You don't have to know the details yet.
Simply let yourself feel the stillness of it.
The way water settles after the tide has gone out and come back in.
You are standing beneath the full,
Restored moon once more.
Hello.
Rested.
Complete.
And now I encourage you to repeat these affirmations silently after me.
Letting each one fully anchor.
I release what is finished with gratitude for what it gave me.
I trust what my heart knows,
Even before my mind understands it.
I am allowed to feel deeply and I am allowed to let go completely.
I am compassionate with myself,
The way I would be with someone I love.
My intuition is a quiet,
Trustworthy voice,
And I am learning to listen.
I am safe to feel.
I am safe to release.
I trust the tide to carry what no longer belongs to me and to bring back only what does.
And now before you open your eyes.
Silently repeat your intention to yourself one more time.
I release what is complete.
And I trust what my heart already knows.
And now,
Bring your hands together.
At your heart center.
In Anjali Mudra.
Take a moment to thank yourself for the gift of showing up today during this quiet,
Profound close of a long eclipse cycle.
And slowly now.
Begin to bring your awareness back into the room around you.
Notice the surface beneath you once more.
The weight of your body resting on the surface.
The temperature of the air.
And wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And gently deepening your breath.
And when you're ready.
In your own time.
Go ahead and stretch in whatever way feels good to you.
Perhaps bringing your arms up and over your head.
In a full body stretch.
And slowly and gently.
Let your eyes.
Softly open.
As we wind down our practice.
And as you slowly return.
Carry the stillness of the eclipse with you as gently as you can over the upcoming days.
Give yourself permission to feel whatever surfaces without needing to rush it along.
And trust that whatever is complete was ready to be completed.
And trust that whatever rises next will arrive.
In its own divine timing.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
It truly has been my honor to spend this time with you.
I wish you a beautiful day and a radiant and joyful full moon eclipse season.
Until we meet again.
Namaste.
