Start by finding a comfortable position in your bed,
Adjust your body so that you feel completely at ease,
Gently close your eyes and take a few moments to tune into your breath and the sensations of your body.
Take a few slow deep breaths,
With each inhale imagine drawing in relaxation and calmness.
With each exhale release any tensions or thoughts that might be lingering in your mind,
Follow the natural rhythm of your inhales and your exhales,
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your belly with each breath,
Anchoring yourself to this present moment.
Imagine each inhale carrying with it a soothing and calming energy and every exhale releasing any stress or worries.
Allow your breath to be your anchor,
Bringing you back to this peaceful state whenever your mind starts to wander.
Take a moment to notice the subtle sensations in your body,
Feel the softness of your bed against your skin,
The gentle support the mattress beneath you and the warmth of the blankets cocooning your body.
Take a deep breath in savouring the feeling of relaxation and ease that this moment brings and as you exhale release any tension or restlessness,
Allowing a deep sense of rest to settle within your body.
Moving deeper into a state of profound relaxation,
Starting at your toes can you gently relax each part of your body,
Releasing any tension and embracing a sense of tranquility.
Let yourself fully surrender to this calming experience as we begin the journey to a peaceful and restful state.
Focus your attention on your toes,
Feel a sense of warmth and comfort spreading throughout each toe.
Imagine the tension melting away,
Leaving your toes completely relaxed and at ease.
Moving your awareness up to your feet and your ankles,
Feel a wave of relaxation washing over this area,
Soothing any tiredness or discomfort in your feet and ankles.
Now bring your attention to your calves and your knees,
Allow any tension to dissolve as you breathe deeply,
Leaving your legs feeling light and at rest.
Continuing to relax your body,
Moving your awareness up to your thighs and your hips,
Let go of any holding or tightness in this area,
Allowing your whole lower body to fully unwind.
Shifting your awareness now to your lower back and your belly,
Feel a sense of release as you breathe deeply into this area,
Letting any stress or discomfort dissipate.
Bring your attention to your chest and your upper back,
Breathe into this space,
Feel your chest expand with each inhale and soften with each exhale.
Focusing now on your shoulders and your arms,
Allowing any tension to melt away,
Leaving your shoulders and your arms feeling weightless and relaxed.
Move your awareness up to your neck and your throat,
Release any tightness,
Letting your neck feel supple and free.
And finally bringing your attention to your head and your face,
Letting go of any furrowing in your brow,
Any clenching in your jaw and allow your entire face to soften.
With your whole body now in a state of deep relaxation,
Return to the tranquility of the night.

Secluded garden under the dark sky.
The night air is cool and refreshing,
Cradling you in its embrace.
A gentle breeze brushes against your skin,
Creating a sense of tranquility.
Allow yourself to connect with the qualities of the night.
