Hello,

My name is Viola,

And I have written this story for all of you.

The story is called,

The Day the Ants Had a Party.

Once upon a time,

There was a little boy named Tommy,

And he was eating an apple.

And then Tommy threw his half-eaten apple down on the ground.

You see,

It was his birthday.

So,

He was a little bit distracted because Tommy's mommy had ordered him a clown.

And the clown had arrived.

He was dancing,

Blowing bubbles,

And he had lots of candy in his hand.

The half-eaten apple laid on the ground,

But not for so long,

Because an ant named Molly came walking along and found the apple near a mount of dirt.

Well,

She pumped up her muscles,

And then she moved real fast,

Calling out to all her fellow working ants,

I found a treasure.

Come,

Come check it out.

First came one ant,

And then there were ten.

And before you know it,

There were so many ants,

You couldn't even count them.

They lifted the apple away from the dirt,

And carried the feast off to the queen and the rest of the busy ant friends that lived in the colony.

They all nibbled and munched until their bellies were quite full,

All from that apple that that sweet boy named Tommy ate on his birthday,

When he was turning nine,

When he left that apple behind.

Molly the ant,

She smiled,

She was so happy.

Every time now when she saw a shiny red apple,

She would remember the story of how it was found,

From the little boy named Tommy,

Who just turned nine.

The end.
