Tolerating Uncertainty
Modern urgency conditions us to treat the unknown like an emergency. When the future feels unresolved, our nervous systems default to defensive vigilance—tightening our posture, racing through hypothetical scenarios, and trying to solve tomorrow using today’s depleted energy. This somatic guided meditation focuses entirely on building the capacity to sit calmly with the unknown. By shifting attention away from cognitive overthinking and anchoring into physical contact points—releasing the jaw, opening the hands, and breathing into the support beneath you—you will train your body to tolerate ambiguity without bracing for an impact. You do not need absolute certainty to experience calm right now. Practice Note: Best experienced with headphones in a quiet, low-lit space.
