Create your new moon intention and keep it in your mental filing cabinet to come back to throughout this new moon cycle. Even a short and simple meditation can affect our energetic body profoundly. It gives us time to pause when we become distracted and allows us to hear our intuition more clearly.

Transcript

Come and sit comfortably sitting on the edge of a folded blanket or bolster.

Take a moment and inhale the spine long.

Exhale through the nose for a count of four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Inhale again through the nose.

Exhale through the nose.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Continue with this count.

And then think of an intention you'd like to come to throughout this meditation.

Maybe it can be allowing yourself to slow down,

Allowing yourself to feel through all five senses.

Find a word,

Maybe three words,

Or a sentence that sums up your intention.

Think about this intention with gratitude,

As if your intention has already come true.

Inhale.

Exhale,

Taking regular deep breaths.

Breath in,

Saying your intention to yourself.

Breath out,

Feeling gratitude.

Continue at your own pace.

Inhale your intention with every exhale,

Feeling that gratitude.

Understand what this intention means to you.

Start to imagine a file cabinet in front of you.

These are files of all your intentions,

Just like the files of your memories.

You can keep files of these intentions for each new moon.

Take a moment to simply think of new moon intentions you've had in the past.

Browsing through the files in the drawer one by one.

Simply going to the location in your mental filing cabinet where each intention resides.

Now come back to your new intention you created today.

File this intention into this filing cabinet and keep it within your thoughts as you move through this new moon cycle.

Come back to consciousness now,

Gently moving your fingers and toes,

And coming back into your body.
