Fear might be one of the biggest things that is holding you back in your business.
We all deal with fear and there are plenty of healthy fears that are actually essential for our survival.
So example,
If you are not going to walk in that dark alley by yourself alone at night,
That's a healthy fear to have.
Other fears hold us back and they can really prevent us from being on purpose and fulfilling our potential in business and in life.
Fear is mapped out all over your human design chart and it can have a detrimental impact on your business.
Understanding your fears is the first step in overcoming them so that you can show up in your business with courage and confidence.
In today's episode,
We're going to cover the four specific aspects of your human design that are really impacted by fear,
Including the three fear centers in human design and how you might be experiencing them.
Welcome to Heart Centered Human Design,
Emotional Intelligence and Conscious Business,
The show for heart-centered entrepreneurs that want meaningful success and work-life balance so they can wake up every day feeling empowered,
Inspired and supported by work and life.
I'm your host,
Vanessa Najah,
And I am so excited to share how human design can help you be on purpose and fulfill your potential,
Especially in your business.
Fear is an essential part of our survival mechanism.
It is natural.
If you are on the savannah and the tiger is chasing you,
You are going to run and it's your fear that makes you do that.
It gives you a physiological response that helps to keep you alive.
We do also have a lot of irrational fears that can hold us back and those fears might feel to us like they could kill us.
So one great example is public speaking.
It is said that public speaking is the most common fear.
It is more common than the fear of death,
Which is just a little crazy,
But they say that 75% of the population actually has a fear of public speaking and for 10% it is like a really extreme debilitating fear.
People literally feel like they're going to die when they're going to public speak,
Which is extremely unlikely.
So those irrational fears,
Those fears that we really think are going to kill us,
But really they're not.
And consciously we know this,
But unconsciously that fear is so strong in our body and it holds us back from doing what we need to do to accomplish our goals,
To share our gifts with the world and in our business.
Some examples in business are not starting your business at all,
Being afraid to do something new,
Which is natural because when you've never done something before,
There is the unknown and there might be fear associated with that.
There are also a lot of fears that keep us from marketing our business and a big one is showing up online,
Being visible,
Sharing our business with others,
Making sales offers,
Sharing about our offers.
Fear can have us playing it really safe,
Meaning our business never gets out there.
Fear can also keep us staying in a career that is absolutely not correct for us,
But we're comfortable in it because we know exactly what the paycheck is going to be.
We know when it's going to come.
We know that it seems reliable,
Even though nothing,
Nothing really is.
You never know what's going to happen,
But fear can really keep us trapped in these things and lead to a lot of anger,
Frustration,
Bitterness,
All of our not self-human design themes when we are not really living in alignment with who we are and doing what we came here to do.
Not following our passions is another way that fear can keep us stuck because we have that fear of what's going to happen if I do follow this passion.
So overcoming our fears is a huge step in really living our life authentically,
Living in alignment with our design.
Now there are multiple different places where fear can show up in your human design chart and please keep in mind that you're a completely unique being.
Your chart is completely unique.
You are different from anybody else and the way your chart is always meant to be looked at in a holistic way.
So even though for things like this we have to separate out the parts,
How everything ties together for you is really what matters.
A little disclaimer here,
Because you are so unique and the fear or how your fear shows up is based on the quantum of your chart as well as your conditioning,
Some of the things that I'm going to talk about might resonate for you even if they're not part of your chart and some things that are part of your chart might not resonate and that is okay because there's a lot more that goes into it than just the chart but in order to give you the information this is how I have to break it down.
So the first place where fear can really show up in your human design chart is in your human design type.
There are some common themes associated with each type that can show up as very specific fears.
So for example for manifestors who are here to initiate and they really need to initiate in order to be in flow in life,
There can be a really big fear of rejection.
Also the fear of being controlled,
The fear of losing freedom,
The fears of not making an impact are all things that can be associated with the manifestor type.
Now for the generator types,
There can be a lot of fears around the generated channels and this has to do with the defined stakeholder center.
We can be dealing with fears around intimacy and reproduction,
Including what we create in the world and in work.
There can be fears around work in general.
Big fear around saying no.
People are so used to asking generators for a thing and saying no and the fear of not pleasing somebody can be a really big one for generators.
Also the fear of saying yes to the wrong things and no to the right things.
Now for manifesting generators,
It can be a little combination of both the generator fears and the manifestor fears that we just covered.
For projectors,
There can be a fear of not being recognized,
Not being seen or heard,
Not receiving invitations,
Accepting the wrong invitations,
Not having enough energy available to do what they say they're going to do,
And also the fears of not being successful if they don't work or expend energy the way that the generator types do.
That's a big one for projectors.
Also when it comes to the fear of being seen and heard,
And this is really true for anybody,
There is also on a more unconscious or subconscious level the fear of not being seen and heard if you put yourself out there,
But there's also the fear of actually being seen and heard and what that might mean and what that might bring to you that you might be afraid you won't be able to handle.
Now for reflectors,
There's going to often be a fear about not having enough time to really follow their own process,
Of being rushed,
Of being pushed into decisions prematurely,
And for reflectors it can also depend very much on where they are in their lunar cycle and what channels are being activated for them by the moon.
They can really experience any of the fears of the other types depending on what is being highlighted for them on any given day.
Now we also have fears associated with the specific profile lines.
For line one,
First line profile,
Insecurity is a big thing.
There's that fear of not knowing enough,
Of not having enough information,
Of not having a stable foundation,
And the general fear of the unknown.
For second lines,
There can be a fear of not having enough time alone,
Not enough time to hermit.
They also don't know what their talents are.
Their talents need to be called out by others so there can be a fear for their own talents and uniqueness not being recognized.
There's also a little bit of naivete there with the second lines and it does come back to this thing about being really talented or gifted at something but yet not knowing necessarily how they do that.
And when it comes to business,
There can be that fear of not being able to explain what they do or how they do it because they don't necessarily know themselves.
For third lines,
It's a really common fear and we all have this to a certain degree and most of us have some third lines in our chart,
But it's that fear of making mistakes.
Third lines have that trial and error process and making mistakes is part of it.
And especially when somebody doesn't understand this or doesn't know their profile or their human design,
That fear of making mistakes can really shut them down.
When for third lines,
It's actually really important that they make those mistakes in order to learn and to help the rest of us with learning from their mistakes as well.
There's an element of making and breaking bonds in the third line.
They're very adaptive and mutative and if something is stifling to them,
It's important for them to break those bonds and then they can remake them if it's appropriate later.
But there can be a big fear around breaking the bonds as well.
For fourth lines,
The influential networkers,
There can be a fear about not being in the right network.
People are so important to fourth lines,
So being with the right people is absolutely essential.
There can also be a fear of not being influential over their networks and also the fear of change.
The fourth line is very fixed,
So change can be a little destabilizing for them and there can be a fear around that.
For the fifth line,
We have the projection field.
Fifth lines can be very afraid of other people's expectations,
Not meeting their expectations,
The fear of people wanting something from the fifth line that the fifth line can't deliver,
And there also can be a lot of fears around being misunderstood and also their reputation being ruined.
But this reputation is a big aspect in the theme of the fifth line.
Now for the sixth line,
The fears can depend on their life phase.
If they're in the first 30 years,
A lot of those third line fears will apply.
Sixth lines are also very concerned with their soulmate.
Sixth lines are always looking for their soulmate,
So there can be fears around not,
What if they don't find their soulmate.
Could be fear around not being the role model that they were born to be,
And also there's a lot of perfectionism baked into the sixth line,
So there can be a fear of imperfection there.
Now the circuitry in our design also can have certain fears associated with it,
And if we're talking about the three major circuits,
Just to give you an overview,
We have the individual circuit which is all about bringing mutation,
Bringing change.
People that have a lot of individuality are going to be ahead of their time,
And they can have a lot of fear of rejection or the fear of being very different,
Of being isolated.
Now with tribal circuitry,
Which is very much about supporting your tribe and your communities,
This is where that very common fear can show up of,
What is my family going to think?
What are my friends going to think?
What is my community going to think if I start this new business,
Put myself out there?
All of those things are very deep in the tribal circuitry,
And then of course in collective circuitry,
There can be that fear of not being able to impact the collective.
There can be fear of judgment here.
Logic is part of the collective circuit,
Not being logical,
Being judged,
Not finding the right patterns,
And also the fear of what is going to happen in the future,
The cycles in your life,
Sharing yourself with other people and the impact that may or may not make.
A lot of these fears can show up in the collective circuit,
And I'm going to go more into detail into all of these aspects in future episodes,
So this is just an overview.
And then of course we have the three fear centers,
The awareness centers in human design,
And I'm going to do individual episodes for each of these,
But the spleen center governs those existential fears,
The fear of death,
The fear of failure,
Of authority,
Of imperfection,
Of the future,
Of the past.
All of these things live in the spleen and are just existential.
Now in the emotional solar plexus,
We have more emotional nervousness and things like the fear of intimacy and tradition and the fear of the fader or expectations,
No one being there to listen to you.
These are the types of fears that can show up in the solar plexus.
The last awareness center is the ajna center,
The center for conceptualization and mental awareness,
So there can be a lot of fears here around not being able to express what you know,
Not being judged for your opinions or your ideas,
Or not having the right ideas.
These are just some examples of fears that can show up in the ajna.
In upcoming episodes,
I'm going to go more deeply into each one of these fears,
Each one of these areas of the chart,
As well as other things.
If you made it all the way to the end of the episode,
Thank you so much for listening or watching all the way to the end.
It would mean the world to me if you reviewed this episode,
This podcast,
On whatever platform where you're listening.
It makes such a huge difference and I appreciate it so much.
