Portals found in nature, relationships, and creative practices in any of the arts. Valerie teaches what she has found to be true. Mindfulness practices, writing and art-making—as well as caring people—helped her in the aftermath of domestic violence, to recover from an eating disorder, and to live successfully with type 1 diabetes.
