My name is Marie and I'm going to tell you how you can create the perfect setting for your first meditation.
First of all it's important to know that you will be fine.
You will do just fine.
Whatever you do.
Second of all,
Try to create a space and a time for yourself where no one can interrupt you.
And in a later stage you might not need the silence as much but for now let's find a nice silent and safe place.
You can sit or lie down for your first session but make it as comfortable as possible.
The more comfortable you are the easier it is to be relaxed.
So fluff that pillow,
Make sure you don't sit on the remote control,
Open the window for fresh air or the sound of the birds or close it from the rain or from the noise of the street.
Whatever you prefer.
This is your time.
This is your place.
So try sitting here or lying here for a minute or two and figure out if it's comfortable and then start your first meditation.
