Welcome beautiful soul.
You are here and that's enough.
Right now this moment is for you.
A sacred pause.
A time to soften.
This is a time to reconnect with your body.
That same body that's been with you through it all.
Find a comfortable position.
Either sitting or lying down.
Let your hands rest gently in your lap or by your sides.
Allow your shoulders to drop just a little and if it feels safe to do so,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a long slow breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Let it go.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling your lungs with air and possibility.
Exhale,
Releasing tension,
Judgment,
And self-criticism.
With each breath,
Feel yourself arriving more fully into your body.
This is not a space of fixing or changing.
This is a space of loving,
Honoring,
And listening.
You don't need to look or be any different than you are right now to be worthy of love,
Attention,
And care.
You are already enough.
Let that truth settle in.
Let's take a gentle journey inward.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Notice any sensations,
Any tension,
Any stillness.
Now,
Imagine a soft,
Warm light resting there.
This light represents compassion and it's going to move with your awareness through your entire body.
Slowly bring this awareness down to your forehead.
Feel the space between your eyebrows soften.
Your jaw unclenches.
Your cheeks release.
Bring this light to your throat.
Feel it expand and open,
Allowing you to speak kindly to yourself and others.
Now,
Gently guide your attention to your shoulders.
Let them drop just a little lower with your next exhale.
Release the weight of carrying too much.
Breathe into your chest.
Place a hand here if you'd like.
Feel your breath rise and fall.
This is the home of your heart,
The rhythm of your resilience.
Now,
Bring awareness to your arms,
Your elbows,
Your hands.
These arms have held others and held yourself.
Let them rest now without needing to do anything at all.
Move now to your belly.
Whether it's soft,
Firm,
Stretched,
Or scarred,
This is your center.
Breathe deeply here and feel your belly expand.
Say silently or aloud,
Thank you for housing my strength,
My intuition,
My life force.
Say it again.
Thank you for housing my strength,
My intuition,
My life force.
Bring attention to your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees.
Send gratitude to these parts,
No matter their size or shape,
For moving you through this world.
Now,
To your calves,
Your ankles,
Your feet.
Feel them grounding you to the earth.
Feel their support.
Say softly,
I am supported.
I am held.
Let your whole body breathe together now.
Inhale and exhale.
And rest in this moment of gentle,
Full body awareness.
Now that you've arrived in your body with presence,
We'll begin affirmations.
Each one is an invitation to rewrite the stories you may have believed about your worth.
I'll say each one twice.
You can repeat them silently or aloud.
Go ahead and let them wash over you like waves.
No need to force yourself.
No need to force belief.
Just allow.
I respect my body as it is today.
I respect my body as it is today.
My body is not an apology.
It is a miracle.
My body is not an apology.
It is a miracle.
I thank my body for carrying me through life.
I thank my body for carrying me through life.
I am allowed to love my body without conditions.
I am allowed to love my body without conditions.
My worth is not determined by numbers or sizes.
My worth is not determined by numbers or sizes.
I release shame and replace it with compassion.
I release shame and replace it with compassion.
The body is my home.
I choose to care for it.
This body is my home.
I choose to care for it.
Every curve,
Every scar,
Every stretch mark tells a story.
My story.
Every curve,
Every scar,
Every stretch mark tells a story.
My story.
I honor my body by listening to its needs.
I honor my body by listening to its needs.
I choose nourishment,
Not punishment.
I choose nourishment,
Not punishment.
I deserve rest.
I deserve pleasure.
I deserve ease.
I deserve rest.
I deserve pleasure.
I deserve ease.
I trust my body's wisdom.
I trust my body's wisdom.
I give myself permission to take up space.
I give myself permission to take up space.
My body is ever-changing,
And that's okay.
My body is ever-changing,
And that's okay.
I don't need to be perfect to be lovable.
I don't need to be perfect to be lovable.
My beauty cannot be defined by anyone but me.
My beauty cannot be defined by anyone but me.
I am more than my appearance.
I am a full,
Radiant being.
I am more than my appearance.
I am a full,
Radiant being.
I treat my body like someone I love.
I treat my body like someone I love.
My body deserves care,
Not critique.
My body deserves care,
Not critique.
I release comparison.
I celebrate my uniqueness.
I release comparison.
I celebrate my uniqueness.
I am allowed to feel good in my skin.
I am allowed to feel good in my skin.
Every breath I take is an act of self-respect.
Every breath I take is an act of self-respect.
My body has done incredible things and continues to.
My body has done incredible things and continues to.
I am proud of how far I've come.
I am proud of how far I've come.
Now,
Take a deep breath in and gently exhale.
Allow yourself to rest in the energy these words have created.
They're not just phrases.
They are actually seeds.
And each time you speak them,
You water them.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
Picture yourself standing in front of a full-length mirror.
But this time,
You look at yourself not through the lens of criticism,
But through the eyes of love.
See yourself there,
Your real body,
Not idealized,
Not filtered,
Just you.
Breathe here.
Notice the strength in your legs,
The softness in your belly,
The curve of your hips,
The power of your chest rising and falling with breath.
Smile at yourself.
Place your hands over your heart in the mirror.
Feel that love flow in both directions.
Now,
Imagine wrapping your arms around yourself in a hug.
Feel the warmth of your own embrace,
The safety,
The gentleness.
Now,
Say silently or aloud,
I love you.
I see you.
I choose you.
Let that energy linger there.
Let your body know you are not my enemy.
You are my ally.
We are in this together.
Begin to slowly bring your awareness back to the space you're in.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Maybe roll your shoulders a couple times.
Take one final deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it.
And exhale slowly.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry the softness and strength with you today.
Let it shape the way you walk,
Nourish yourself,
Speak to yourself,
And exist in your body.
You are worthy of a relationship with your body that feels loving,
Respectful,
And free.
Come back to this meditation anytime you forget.
Your body is not the problem.
Your body is a blessing.
And so are you.
