Begin by finding a quiet space where you can sit or lay down comfortably.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Holding it for a moment,
And exhale slowly.
Let's do it one more time.
Breath in,
Hold,
And exhale slowly.
Let yourself settle into the present moment.
Now imagine roots extending from the base of your spine or the soles of your feet reaching deep into the earth.
Feel the earth's supportive energy anchoring you,
Holding you steady and secure.
Take a moment to notice how this grounding feels in your body.
Feel the connection of your body to the ground beneath you.
Notice the texture of your clothing or the surface you are resting on.
Imagine the scent of rich earth or fresh grass reminding you of your connection to nature.
Now let's bring your awareness to your physical body,
Starting at the crown of your head.
Scan slowly down to your toes.
Notice any sensation,
Areas of warmth,
Coolness or tingling.
This is your physical boundary.
Your body is your sacred space.
Now visualize a soft glowing light outlining your skin.
This light marks the edges of your physical body.
Take a moment to appreciate how your body houses your energy and supports you.
Now expand your awareness beyond your physical body.
Imagine a gentle luminous field of energy surrounding you.
What color would it be?
This energy is vibrant and protective.
Now let's visualize this field glowing in a color that feels comforting and strong.
Perhaps gold and silver or soft blue.
Imagine the sound of a gentle hum or the rustling of leaves.
As you breathe in,
Feel your energy field expand slightly.
As you exhale,
Notice it stabilizing and becoming firm yet flexible,
Like a strong but soft cocoon.
This energy field has a rhythm,
And this rhythm is connected to your breathing.
It expands on your inhale and slightly contracts on the exhale.
Now let's define your boundaries.
Bring your focus to where your energetic body ends.
Maybe it's one foot away from your physical body,
Maybe two feet,
Maybe more.
Ask yourself,
Where do I begin and where do I end?
Visualize your energy field clearly defining your space.
Imagine anything outside of this field that doesn't serve you gently bouncing off,
Unable to penetrate your boundary.
With each breath affirm,
I know where I begin and end.
My boundaries are clear and strong.
I welcome only what nurtures and respects me.
Now take a deep breath and hold and visualize your energy field is becoming bigger and bigger.
Bigger than the room you're in,
The house or building.
Bigger than the city,
State,
Country.
Bigger than the planet.
And now on exhalation,
Bring your energy back closer to your body.
Maybe make yourself even smaller.
The size of an ant or any insect you choose.
Remember you can make yourself as big as you desire and as small as you desire.
Anything is possible.
Now let's create protection around your physical and energetic body through the five senses.
See your energy field shimmering like a translucent shield.
Feel the lightness and strength of your protective layer as if a soft breathe is gently brushing against it.
Maybe visualize a natural soundscape that supports your sense of safety.
Maybe the sound of the ocean or running river.
Inhale the fragrance of something soothing like lavender or fresh air.
Imagine the refreshing taste of cool pure water cleansing and replenishing your energy.
Now let's take a moment to strengthen your field by visualizing it becoming brighter and more radiant with each breath.
It moves with you and adjusts to your needs,
Always keeping you safe and centered.
And say silently to yourself,
My boundaries are sacred.
I honor and respect my energy.
I protect my space with love and clarity.
And remember the importance of setting the boundaries.
You're doing it for yourself.
You're doing it for yourself so you can stay connected to others and know where your energy is at.
Without merging,
Without becoming somebody else.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a final deep breath,
Feeling both your physical and energetic boundaries aligned and intact.
Know you that you're always safe and protected.
Know that you can always come back to the space of empowerment where you can set your boundaries and adjust your energetic field.
