When I lived in Columbia, Missouri, I started going to the Unity church that was a few blocks away from our house. This is where I was first inspired and encouraged to write and perform my own songs. The first thing (among many things) that I heard that I really resonated with, that stayed and reverberates in me still, was the first Unity principle: "There is only one Presence and one Power in my life and in the Universe: the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Good." When we moved away, I wrote this song as a way of anchoring that principle in my awareness. I hope you enjoy. From the Presence in me, to the same Presence in you.
