Good morning my love.

Before we begin let me just welcome you to this moment,

To this morning,

To this new day.

And may we start with gratitude for the gift of life.

And may this meditation be vitamin for your soul as you start your day.

We'll use this time together to simply set a solid foundation for the day ahead,

Allowing you to move into your day feeling grounded,

Connected and prepared for whatever life brings your way.

As we get ready for the practice,

I invite you to do this practice sitting up,

Finding a posture that allows you to breathe deeply with ease.

A posture that you can hold with dignity and with grace.

One that makes you feel powerful.

So let's begin with the eyes gently closed,

Taking a sweet deep breath in,

Noticing where you are in space.

Noticing if perhaps you might be leaning forward,

Maybe leaning backward.

Noticing if perhaps you are tilted to one side or the other.

And do your best to find the very center of your seat.

And so just as best as you can,

Aligning the crown of your head,

Head over pelvis.

And gently bringing your palms together at the heart,

Welcoming yourself to the day and feeling,

Touching in to the gratitude of this moment.

Breathing in deeply,

Releasing your hands into your lap,

Opening the chest,

Opening the heart and opening yourself to the abundance of life,

To the wonders of life with curiosity for how life might surprise you today.

Bringing a slight smile to the mouth,

Taking a deep breath in,

Grounding yourself in the power of the breath.

Noticing the breath and taking a moment to really gather your focus,

Gather your attention on the breath,

Inhaling slowly and exhaling slowly on the out-breath.

And as you continue to breathe deeply,

Allowing the power of your breath to do its magic.

With each in-breath,

May you cultivate a sense of relaxation,

A sense of stillness,

And a sense of calm.

And as you connect deeply to the breath,

May you be reminded of this power source within you,

The power source that is always available to you as you move through the rest of your day.

Continuing to breathe,

I invite you to imagine that with each out-breath,

You are breathing into a ball of energy in front of you.

With each out-breath,

Watching this ball of energy as it continues to grow bigger and bigger.

And in these next few moments,

Let's go ahead and set some intentions for the day.

Speaking your intentions into this ball of energy,

Answering the question,

How do I want to feel at the end of today?

Reflecting for a moment on this question that regardless of what life brings my way,

Regardless of how this day unfolds,

How do I want to feel at the end of this day?

And now without judgment,

Without resistance to whatever emerges,

Simply allow the answers to come up,

Trusting your intrinsic wisdom to guide you here.

How do I want to feel at the end of today?

And choosing two,

Maybe three words that represent your intentions for the day,

Whispering under your breath,

And then allowing these words to float out in front of you and into the ball of energy,

Watching the ball of energy growing bigger and bigger as it absorbs your intentions.

And on your next inhale,

Imagine that this large ball of energy moves to the top of your head,

Noticing the color,

Noticing the size,

And noticing the movement of the energy.

Seeing this ball of energy at the top of your head as you continue to breathe,

Allowing this ball of energy that is holding your intentions for the day to gently move slowly over your body,

Covering your entire body from your head,

Moving slowly and gently down your body,

Moving slowly down to the bottom of your feet,

And breathing in and out,

Noticing the circle of energy slowly making its way down your body,

And continuing to breathe,

Whispering the words of your intentions,

Really cementing those intentions with every ounce of your being.

Taking a moment here just to notice your state of mind,

Notice whatever is present for you in this moment.

And on your next inhale,

Really grounding your intention and grounding your being in your intentions for the day,

Knowing that you are supported by the power of your breath.

Taking a deep breath in and slowly,

Gently exhaling out.

Whispering the words of your intention one last time,

Reminding yourself of how you want to feel at the end of your day.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Feeling ready,

Feeling grounded,

Feeling lifted,

And feeling powerful.
