Hello and welcome my love.
We'll start by setting an intention to cultivate a feeling of caring and lovingness and warmth.
Taking our time together in this practice we'll explore the sweetness of life and the power of gratitude.
Let's start with a few deep breaths inhaling slowly and deeply on the in breath.
Exhaling slowly on the out breath.
Continuing to breathe deeply noticing the warmth and gratitude of this moment.
Simply tuning into yourself with each breath.
Sinking in and surrendering to the moment.
On your next inhale I invite you to soften any areas of the body where you might be holding some tension.
Quickly scanning the body starting at the head.
Scanning the face and releasing any tension around the eyes,
The mouth.
Simply loosening the jaw.
Continuing to breathe noticing any tension at the shoulders maybe bringing the shoulders up to the ears and allowing that tension to melt away.
Checking in with the chest gently opening the chest and releasing any tightness that might be there.
And scanning the body on the inhale and very gently softening on the exhale.
Using your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Take a moment now to check in with your heart space.
Maybe placing a hand on your heart.
Noticing the beat of your heart.
Understanding what it feels like to be alive and be grateful for that.
I invite you now to think of someone that you love deeply.
I invite you to choose someone for whom your love is uncomplicated.
Someone that you love unconditionally.
You might imagine a child,
A dear friend or even a pet.
Go ahead and bring the face of your loved one into your mind's eye.
Understanding the features of their face,
Noticing their smile.
How does it feel to be connected with their love?
I invite you to really tune in to the experience of that love.
Where do you feel it?
What does it feel like?
Your hand on your heart,
Ask yourself,
What do I love most about this person?
What is it about this person that I am most grateful for?
As you recall these memories,
Notice the experience of lovingness in your heart space.
Allow that gratitude to warm your heart.
Allow that love to grow bigger and bigger and bigger.
You connect with this love,
Stay with it.
Very intimately notice the details of your experience.
Notice what it's like to be grateful.
Taking a deep breath in,
Smiling at the mouth and really grounding yourself in the power of loving gratitude.
Go ahead and release your hands into your lap,
Opening the chest,
Opening your heart even more.
Bringing yourself to the abundance of love,
To the abundance of life.
Allow this loving gratitude to radiate through the rest of your body and notice what is it like to intentionally cultivate a feeling of joy and lovingness in your heart?
