Healing is not linear.
It is a journey.
With pits and with peaks.
With four steps forward and sometimes ten steps back.
It is different every time.
It really is a journey.
There's no recipe.
I can't instruct you to add a tablespoon of compassion,
Two teaspoons of surrender,
Three quarter cup of chocolate,
And a dash of gratitude.
Each person and scenario is different.
Just know that how you are feeling is okay.
That it is normal.
And also that you're not alone.

Bring your awareness to your skin.
Notice that it wraps all the way around you.

Now bring your awareness to your chest.

Through the light and the dark.
Allow gratitude to flood your heart and lungs in this moment.
Acknowledge your body for being there for you.
Getting you through those pits and peaks.
Take a deep breath with me and let it all out.
Release all that you can from your being in this moment.
