Use your breath to take yourself into an alpha or light meditative state.

I will guide you in your breathing until you have reached the state where you can just be.

We are going to begin breathing four times each to a count of one,

Then two,

Then three,

Four,

Five and six.

Seeing a circular motion each time.

Then once you are at six we will create a still point on each breath,

Holding it for two seconds and repeating.

I will begin counting now.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Focus your attention on your solar plexus and hold your energy in there.

And just be for one minute.

Hold your energy in there.

Bring your attention back to the room.

You feel calm,

Centered and ready for the rest of the day.

Very interesting breathwork! I hadn’t experienced that before but I do feel calm and more centered.

Short & sweet meditation to calm and center the mind before even getting out of the bed. I'll definitely try to add this as a part of my morning routine!
