This is Linda Lange from ThoughtChange.
Today I'd like to guide you through a beautiful meditation that will help ground you and also connect you with universal energy.
So just close your eyes and make yourself comfortable.
Take a nice deep breath and let it go.
Just be really aware of your breath as you're breathing,
Feeling your breath on the inhalation and exhalation.
Take some nice deep grounding breaths at whatever pace is comfortable for you.
Notice that the breath starts to slow down the more you hold your attention on it.
And now I'd like you to imagine that you're breathing down through roots.
You can grow those roots down from your tailbone or the soles of your feet,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
So on the exhale,
Breathing down into the earth and breathing up,
Pulling that earth energy up on your inhalation,
Pulling it up.
So on the exhale,
You're releasing your breath into the earth.
And on the inhale,
You are breathing earth energy up through those roots and into your body.
And after a few nice deep grounding breaths,
Into mother earth.
I'd like you to now switch your attention.
I want you to imagine that on the inhalation,
You're connecting upward to the cosmos.
And on the exhale,
You are bringing the energy from the cosmos down,
Pulling the energy down from the cosmos through your crown and into your body.
On the inhalation,
You're connecting upward to the cosmos,
Reaching up with your breath to connect.
And on the exhale,
Focusing your awareness on pulling that spiritual energy down into your body.
And now on the next breath,
I want you to go into your heart,
Into your heart chakra.
And I want you to imagine that on the inhalation,
You are reaching up to the cosmos and down into the earth at the same time,
Connecting with both heaven and earth.
And on the exhale,
Bringing the energy of the cosmos and the earth into your heart.
Take several deep breaths where you are connecting and then filling your body with both heaven and earth energy.
And when you feel complete,
Open your eyes,
Breathe normally,
And take one more nice deep breath as you tune in and notice how you feel.
Bring this beautiful,
Peaceful,
Balanced energy with you throughout your day.
