Gain insights into the transformative power of forgiveness and its profound impact on personal healing and empowerment. Having studied both Edgar Cayce's channeled wisdom and Huna, the ancient Hawaiian system of healing and spirituality, I'll explain why forgiveness is so important, and a gift to oneself. I'll share a bit about the Hawaiian process of Ho'o pono pono, a powerful technique to clear emotional baggage and cultivate deeper levels of peace within yourself.

Forgive and Forget Forgiveness heals and empowers the one who forgives.

That is a universal law,

Channeled from America's sleeping prophet,

Edgar Cayce,

While in trance.

Forgiveness is really a gift you give yourself.

It's not about letting another off the hook or condoning inappropriate actions.

It's about fostering a deeper level of peace within you.

The ancient Hawaiians knew the importance of forgiveness.

The process of hoho pono pono was foundational in their culture and necessary for healing.

Hoho means to make,

And pono means right.

Not as in the opposite of wrong,

But more like in alignment or good.

So,

Hoho pono pono means to make right both ways.

Me to you,

And you to me.

In olden times,

They would actually meet face to face with a healer or mediator until the air was clear between both parties.

But you don't have to meet in person.

You can also do the healing process in your mind.

This can clear you and resolve uncomfortable emotions.

It can even make shifts in the other person,

Because as you change,

The interaction between you will change.

Of course,

If they choose,

They can hold on to their resentments.

In the Hawaiian culture,

To forgive meant you forgot the transgression.

It was never mentioned or thought of again.

After all,

If you brought up the incident within relationship challenges or arguments,

You hadn't really forgiven at all.

This is something to consider if you have ever brought up the transgression of another in times of emotional or relationship upset.

It means there is more inner work to do on your part.

Remember,

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself.

And as Edgar Cayce stated,

Forgiveness heals and empowers the one who forgives.

Beautiful. Thank you. And that Hawaiian mantra has helped my relationship with my mother immensely. Very magical! Still not the best relationship it could be and not what I would love but at least itโ€™s getting better and I much less abusive words coming my way๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
