Find a position that is comfortable for you.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath for a few moments.
Allow your breathing to be just as it is.
Notice as your body settles into the present moment.
Think of your breath as a messenger letting you know how you're feeling in this moment physically and emotionally.
Allow whatever you find to simply be there along with you.
Notice the feeling of your breath.
Notice the sensation of breathing in.
Notice the sensation of breathing out.
Allow your breathing to slow to 5.
5 seconds in through your nose and 5.
5 seconds out through your nose.
Keep breathing slowly in this way.
Think of a loving presence.
It could be a family member or a friend,
One who is living or one who has passed away.
It could be a teacher,
Mentor,
Guide,
Or spiritual figure.
It could even be a pet.
Someone who brings you a feeling of peace,
Love,
And safety.
Someone who makes you feel cared for and accepted exactly as you are in this moment.
Someone who makes you feel unconditionally loved.
Now imagine how you would feel in their presence.
What does it feel like to be wholly accepted and embraced for the person you are right now?
To feel worthy,
Seen,
And cared for.
Once you feel even a tiny bit of this feeling,
Notice what it feels like.
Is it warm?
Is there a sense of light?
Of energy?
Does a color or texture arise?
Whatever comes up for you,
Allow it to be there as you continue to breathe slowly in and slowly out.
Think of a loving presence.
It could be a friend,
Mentor,
Guide,
Or spiritual figure.
What words would you want this being to say to you?
Perhaps something like,
I love you no matter what.
You are worthy.
You are doing your best.
You are enough.
I am always loving you.
Now place a hand on your heart and feel that sense of love and acceptance seeping into your body.
Keep repeating their message to you as you slowly breathe in and out through your nose.
Now place your hands on your heart and feel that sense of love and acceptance seeping into your body.
You might also imagine.

This being putting their arms around you.
.
.
Embracing you in a warm,
Loving hug.
Wrap your arms around yourself now in a hug,
Imagining this love surrounding you.

.
Loving every aspect of you,
Including the aspects you can't personally accept.
If you find yourself struggling to embrace your whole self,
See if you can embrace that fact too.
See if you can accept the feelings that can't accept every aspect of you.
Keep hugging yourself.
Breathing slowly and deeply,
Floating in this presence of unconditional love and acceptance that exists for you,
No matter what.
Breathing slowly and deeply,

No matter what.
Now slowly take a deep breath in.

Gently open your eyes.
Softly look around the room and notice two things that you have either never noticed before or haven't noticed in a while.
As you go about your day,
Remember that this love is always accessible to you.
There is always love available for you.
Sometimes we just have to take a moment to feel it.
