Our world is full of distractions.
There's messages all day long towards us and from us to the world.
There's messages of pain,
Suffering and hurt,
Difficult interactions.
The world can be such a scary place and we tend to harden and contract ourselves a lot during the day.
There's so many situations that can make us feel stressed,
Nervous and bring us in a fight or flight mode where we disconnect from the softness of our hearts and bodies.
It takes quite the courageous heart to stay open and soft but it's the way to let life in and to bring yourself to this world.
So let's tune into our ability to soften.
This meditation is here to help you come back to your softness.
You can do this seated.
I'm going to invite you to take a breath or two and sigh out on the out breath and do another one in your own pace and let anything that wants to leave the body leave with the exhale.
Now place your hand on your heart and see if you can melt your heart towards your spine.
Your spine is there always,
The backbone,
The strength of your body and you can rest your heart against it.
Now soften the front of your body and bring everything that is hard towards the back of your body.
You can visualize the walls in front of you to melt and fall away.
There's no need to protect yourself right now.
You're safe.
Allow the front of your body to be open,
Surrendered,
Available.
Take your guard down and any stories that are keeping you up and keeping you protected,
Let them go and ask yourself,
How can I soften more in this moment?
Where in my body can I soften more?
Relaxing my jaws,
The frown on my forehead,
My pelvic floor and then tap into that feeling of softness,
A feeling of love because you are pure love.
If you can feel it,
You can also decide where you want to take it.
Take it through the body.
Allow every cell of your being to be filled with your softness and your love.
Sometimes it can help to think of someone you love deeply or an animal and notice where those sensations in the body are showing you that you love them and take these sensations and spread them throughout the body.
When you are in the past or the future,
You're not in love so you need to choose the now so you can be love.
So bring all of your attention and awareness and energy towards that place in the body that can feel love.
Can you see the people around you?
That's brand new.
Every time and every day you see them again.
Can you take one deliberate moment today to be more love?
Leave a conversation or a room that you're in.
Go out,
Take a breath and intentionally go back into the room and into the conversation with more love.
Notice how it feels to have this feeling of love inside the body.
You are pure love.
Take this softness,
This surrenderedness and this love wherever you go.
The world needs it and it's up to you.
If you want to bathe yourself in it or if you want to share some of it with those around you,
Be intentional.
Your energy is your highest currency.
