A short guided visualization to still the mind. If you have a few minutes and need a gentle reset to quiet the chattery mind, imagine you are sitting by a lake watching the raindrops fall. Music: My Memories by Gian Marco La Serra

Welcome to your mindful moment.

Today we'll practice a visualization.

Get comfortable,

Let your body relax,

Let your gaze soften or eyes close.

Imagine you're sitting at the edge of a lake on a misty day and you notice small drops of rain piercing the stillness of the lake one at a time.

Each drop creates a circle of ripples and then blends with the water of the lake returning to the whole.

Simply observing how each drop of rain returns to the whole as if watching your thoughts simply drop and disappear in the vastness of the ocean.

Witnessing yourself,

Witnessing your thoughts,

Witnessing your breath.

Noticing the stillness,

A profound,

Calm space where you're simply observing yourself,

Your thoughts,

Your body,

Your breath.

Observing the stillness of the lake,

Observing the mist,

Witnessing the rain,

Allowing your thoughts to move and drop and disappear in the stillness of your mind,

In the stillness of the lake,

In the stillness of this space.

You can always come back to this place of stillness.
