When you are in FAWN, your energy feels "porous," thin, or see-through. You are hyper-aware of everyone else’s moods while completely ignoring your own. Your body may feel "hollow" in the centre, and you might find yourself over-explaining or "shrinking" to keep the peace. The nervous system has gone into a survival strategy of Self-Abandonment, merging with others to avoid the danger of conflict or rejection. To heal this, we don’t try to "force" a boundary or become aggressive. Instead, we introduce Perspective and Space - gently, safely, and intentionally. When you connect with Air energy - clarity, objectivity, and the freedom to breathe - you begin to signal to your body that it’s safe to be separate. Air clears the "fog" of other people's expectations, allowing you to untangle your worth from their approval and reconnect with your own centre.
