Welcome to this Enneagram meditation,

Turning towards the head triad.

As you arrive here,

Find a comfortable position and gently welcome yourself into this moment.

Receive to the welcome of love.

Gather yourself in from what was before and what is coming after this meditation.

Nothing is needed in this moment but to be here just as you are.

Receive the grace to be present.

Begin to become aware of your breath following the inhale and the exhale.

As thoughts and interruptions arrive,

Acknowledge them and then let them go,

Passing through on their way.

Return again to your breath.

Now allow yourself to become an observer of you.

Imagine that you are standing outside of yourself but able to see inside to all that's going on.

What thoughts do you notice come to you regularly?

How often do you find yourself coming up with solutions to possible threats?

Is the you that you're observing anxious?

And if so,

What do they get anxious about?

Does the you that you're observing feel insecure,

Incompetent or bored?

How important is it that this you experiences an internal state of order before taking action?

Perhaps you can offer the you that you're observing some courage.

To end,

Can you give the you that you're observing a hug?

Some reassurance and some love.

And then as the observed and the observer come back together,

Receive the embrace of divine love.

Know yourself safe and held.

Deeply known and tenderly cared for.

All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well.
