Breathing in Blessings,
A self love meditation.
This guided meditation session will guide you to relax and help you to believe in yourself.
Many people lack self belief and do not recognise the quiet inner strength they possess.
Remember that believing in yourself and offering yourself love is a gentle act of self care and an affirmation in you as a person.
You simply acknowledge that you deserve good things in your life and can be confident in yourself.
You may sit or lay down to do this meditation,
Whichever is more comfortable for you.
Take a few natural breaths and close your eyes.
Think of being in a beautiful bedroom,
It is warm and mellow with sunlight and a faint mild breeze stirs the curtains.
Beyond there is a small cove and a gentle summer sea.
You can hear the calm sigh of the waves breaking and withdrawing.
All is peaceful and safe.
You can smell the sea air and cut grass from the garden.
Take some natural breaths as we focus on the act of breathing,
Something many people do not even notice they do.
Breathe in without stress and imagine and feel the oxygen you are taking in.
Breathe in the energy and when you exhale,
Allow yourself to relax.
Now breathe in and hold it for a moment,
Remembering not to force yourself,
Just hold as long as it feels comfortable and then exhale,
Feeling a wave of relaxation sweep over you.
Inhale again,
Feeling the fresh flow of oxygen,
That clean sea air.
Hold it again and then exhale.
Inhale and feel the energy and purity and then exhale and allow your body to soften and relax.
Breathing deeply and fully with awareness is an expression of self compassion.
Let your breath flow naturally now and notice how you feel.
Now listen to the calm rhythm of the waves.
Be aware of the air gently entering and leaving your body.
Let your awareness travel down from your face to your neck and shoulders,
Down each arm and all the way down to the tips of each finger.
Become aware of your lungs now,
Expanding and contracting.
Feel the beat of your heart.
Expand your awareness all the way down your stomach and each leg to the tips of your toes.
Take another mindful breath in and let a smile come across your face.
Say to yourself,
Either quietly aloud or in your mind,
I accept myself as a good person.
With strength,
Compassion and kindness.
This person,
Myself,
Now opens my whole mind to an abundance of good things.
I am an important living addition to this world.
I accomplish things in my own time.
I am worthy and I deserve goodness in my life.
Each moment of affirmation dissolves the blocks we can place on our minds.
Sometimes we are not even aware of those blocks,
But they act as barriers against the flow of good things into our lives.
You do deserve the best.
You deserve to receive an abundance of health,
Joy and peace of mind.
Breathe in the kindness of self love.
Breathe out and relax in the acceptance of yourself.
Say to yourself,
I receive blessings,
Kindness,
The mystery and magic of luck and universal love.
Breathe in and receive,
Exhale and relax.
Each time you exhale,
Let any negative thoughts of yourself float away and vanish as you relax deeper into love,
Acceptance and becoming open to good things in your life.
Say quietly to yourself,
Or aloud,
From now on I will treat myself with kindness and compassion.
I will honour my feelings.
I will nourish my mind,
Body and spirit.
With love and care.
I am open to every blessing.

Accepting love,
Calmness and the possibility of good things.
