Good afternoon or good evening or good morning if you listen to this on Tuesday morning or a different morning.

Welcome to your meditation today.

Today I'm going to give you a technique to let yourself be free of any connection to something that you no longer want to feel so connected to.

And so you can settle into your meditation position if it's seated letting your spine be tall letting the back of your head be long and then you can adjust yourself bringing your shoulders up by your ears and then releasing them down again bringing your shoulders up by your ears and then release them down.

And now your hands could either be on your lap on the top of your legs or if you want to do a mudra which is going to help cultivate letting go you can interlace your fingers palms touching release your index fingers so they're pointed outward and down and then let your left thumb cross over your right thumb and then rest that hand in those hands in your lap.

And so that's a mudra that cultivates letting go.

So if you want to hold your hands there you can during the duration of this meditation.

You can soften your eyelids closing them or finding a point in front of you to focus on if that feels more comfortable.

Bring your awareness to your breath noticing if you want to breathe more deeply or not moving your breath in a way that feels comfortable to you.

And then what is a source of some stress in your life right now?

Maybe it is a person maybe it is a source of information maybe it's a situation whatever it is a thing imagine that thing and but still be aware that we're seated right now and we're safe so see that thing and then imagine a cord is connecting you to that source of stress an energetic cord you can be in a color or like a two or whatever it is that you picture when you think of a energetic core connecting you to another being or situation or thing and then you can imagine from another source there is a gold rod that is able to come down and as it is placed on that cord the cord begins to disintegrate breaking it into two letting go of that connection between you and the other thing and then as that connection is broken the cord that was extending from you dissolves and releases down into the earth through your feet or through your seat dissolving into the earth letting you go free so here in your space free of a connection that you no longer was serving you in that way we're going to sit silently for two minutes and if at any point you want to have an anchor to come back to you you can bring your attention to your body a place on your body your hands your feet or your breath you you you you your eyes still closed bring your awareness back into your body notice how it feels to be free and ready to take on the rest of the day move through the day with love and patience and connection for your highest good and the highest good of everyone else bring your hands together and rub them and then placing your hands over your heart or over your eyes thanking yourself for taking the time to meditate have a wonderful day namaste
