This new season is often considered "the most productive part of the year" and it is easy to fill up our to-do list and succumb to the sense of "forced productivity", whether real or perceived. Today's modern age tells us that we are doing good, we are successful and important if we are "busy", if we are in continuous motion. When we all buy into this, it feeds the validation and can cause serious issues in the long run. The human brain and our bodies are not designed to always be doing something. We need rest. We need stillness. We work better when we take time to restore. We need to BE before we can DO. We are human BEINGS after all... That is what this meditation offers - a moment of replenishment and a reminder to take time for yourself. "Progress is made through presence". Nature has a way of getting things done, in its own time.
