All right,

Welcome to your seven minute practice and today is going to be super relaxing and a one that's done from lying down is one option but you can also sit up if you like,

If you'd like to do it more of a seated meditation or you know in a lazy boy chair or something.

It's going to be a bit of a sparkling joy relaxation so get yourself in whatever position you feel like you can release and relax into.

Make sure you've got enough props to be able to do that so cushions,

Pillows,

Blankets,

Whatever you need,

Walls,

Chairs to allow your body to release into this and as we make a start with our practice you're closing your eyes when you're ready.

If closing your eyes isn't comfortable today you can just have a soft gaze if that's something you'd prefer to do just to shut down that sensory input of your eyesight.

You may have just got up,

If you have,

If this is a morning practice trying something different instead of being all active in the morning just seeing what it feels like to do a relaxation but of course you can do this any time of day.

Taking some nice big sighing breaths as you start to connect into your body releasing a little bit of tension through your out-breath.

But spending this time to connect and say oh how am I feeling and in the spirit of joy and our sparkling joy relaxation doing your best to do this in a really light-hearted way.

How's this body of mine feeling today?

Where's my heart at?

Where's my incredible amazing full mind at?

Just taking a light-hearted approach to your check-in and allowing your breath to slow down as you start to bring it more inside now with the mouth closed in and out of your nostrils.

And let's take a few moments to check your position,

Your posture,

How you've set yourself up for this relaxation meditation.

Just making any adjustments if you feel you could be more comfortable or more supported.

Giving a light effort with your breath as you inhale nice and spaciously.

Feel that breath reaching out to the whole body.

And you exhale long slow and soft.

Slowly starting to release the effort with that easy breath allowing your body to breathe naturally.

As we wander through different areas of your body and as we do this you can allow these areas to let go a little bit,

Soften,

Release.

Also imagine thousand sparkles in this area.

Golden sparkles of lightness and joy.

Starting with your head,

Back of your head,

The sides and your whole face.

Just imagining all of these light sparkles illuminating and softening to the rhythm of your natural breath.

All through the top of your head,

Your face,

Your cheeks,

Jawline,

And then down to your neck.

And allowing the sparkles to move over your shoulders and all around in the shoulder joints.

And down both arms and into the palms of your hands,

All your fingers and the tips of fingers.

And as you move back up to the top of your torso and then allow the sparkles to fill the whole torso front,

Sides and back from top to bottom.

Swirling through the spine,

The muscles,

All of your incredible organs.

Arriving in your pelvis,

In the womb space.

Releasing down both legs,

Into the feet and the tips of the toes.

Tuning into the whole body,

Sparkling,

Whole body alive with golden sparkles.

And see that moving out off your body now as well,

Filling a big bubble around you.

And for the next minute or so here,

Just repeating,

I choose joy.

Whole body,

Energy,

Heart and mind filled with golden sparkles.

And I choose joy.

And saying it mentally with a smile on your face,

I choose joy.

And coming into a nice,

Full,

Delicious,

Deep breath,

Your last mantra of I choose joy,

Feeling that sparkling energy inside,

Smiling all the way from the inside to the outside.

As you bring your palms together in front of your heart and pause for one moment of gratitude for today.

Aadhiom tatsat,

And then slowly start to open your eyes and make your way either back upright or on with your day.

As you choose sparkling joy.
