Remembering Presence is part of a meditation series exploring the 12 links of dependent origination: the patterns through which we lose contact with immediate experience and become caught in our constructed sense of reality. This guided mindfulness practice focuses on remembering: recognizing when attention has become bound to a thought, memory, feeling, sensation, or habitual pattern, and returning to what is actually happening right now. Through embodied presence, open awareness, and practicing with the eyes either open or closed, you’ll explore how to remain alert without becoming tense or fixated. This meditation may be especially helpful for interrupting thought loops, grounding in the body, developing present-moment awareness, and bringing greater clarity and spaciousness to everyday experience.
