Prana is defined as energy, vitality, and power. Prana is the essence and foundation of all life; it is the energy and vitality that pervades the entire Universe. Prana pervades everything that exists. Furthermore, Prana is the link that connects the material world, consciousness, and mind. In this exercise, we will focus on activating your life force energy.

Namaste,

Welcome to today's meditation.

My name is Teresa and I will guide you through this session.

The Hara or Chi point is close to the sacros chakra and is the energy store of the energy system.

It is situated in a physical body center axis,

Center of gravity and balancing point.

Just like a storage heater in the room it can be activated to pump a warm glow through the body then let to rest and store energy for use at a later time.

Stand with your legs shoulder wide apart,

Feet pointing forwards and your knee comfortable bent.

Take seven deep relaxing breaths.

Bring your hands to your navel with the palms facing each other about 20 centimeters apart.

If you wish to close your eyes to help with visualization you can.

Visualize that you are holding a ball of sparkling silver light energy prana between them.

As you inhale slowly expand the ball by moving your hands away from each other.

You you As you exhale slowly bring your hands closer together to concentrate the silver energy.

You you Do 7 inhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Now hold your hands against your navel and take 7 more deep breaths.

Feel your abdomen expanding and concentrating and the energy by inside you is increasing and decreasing in intensity.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Do 10 exhalations.

Now relax and move your body.
