
Hypnotic Guided Visualisation Relaxation
20-minute guided relaxation and self-hypnosis for releasing anxiety, fear, and stress and accessing inner calm, peace, and confidence. This guided visualisation allows you to drop into a deep meditative state for healing and peace.
Transcript
So preparing yourself for the relaxation for this enjoyable helpful experience please ensure that you loosen any tight clothing and get yourself in a comfortable position either sitting or lying.
Now close your eyes over lightly and take in three conscious breaths.
Breathing in deeply and letting go completely.
Continue with five to six deep breaths.
As you inhale you bring more oxygen into your body.
As you exhale it causes your body to keep relaxing more and more.
Now allow your breath to return to its normal pace.
Breathing easily and freely you can feel yourself becoming more calm and peaceful.
Clearing your mind as you tap into your inner silence.
If any thoughts pop in acknowledge them and let them pass.
Thoughts are just words and you don't need to do anything with words right now.
Perhaps seeing any thoughts as white fluffy clouds in the clear blue sky.
With that clear blue sky being the light of your consciousness and see those white fluffy clouds drift past just floating away.
You are now revealing signs that indicate you are moving into a very deep state of relaxation.
As I continue to talk to you you can keep relaxing more and more.
Your subconscious mind will always be aware of what I am saying to you.
So it keeps becoming less and less important for you to consciously listen to my voice.
Your subconscious mind and all levels of your inner mind can hear and receive everything I say.
Your conscious mind can relax completely.
You are continuing to experience perfect peace of mind.
So starting with a scan of the body relaxing the body.
I want you to imagine now that there is a river of relaxation and calm starting at the top of the head gently trickling down over the back of the head,
The sides of the head,
Over the forehead and the temples.
Just relaxing all of the muscles in the face as this river of relaxation and calm trickles down over the face down to the neck area allowing all of the muscles to become loose and limp.
Flowing further now down to the neck and the shoulder area just trickling down like water through sand this river of relaxation and calm is allowing all of the muscles to become deeply deeply relaxed.
Trickling down to the arms,
The top of the arms,
The elbows,
The forearms,
Your wrists and right down to your fingertips so both arms are completely relaxed and calm.
The top of the back,
The middle of the back and the lower back.
Drifting down the chest and the heart area perhaps imagining this river of relaxation and calm is filling up your heart which is like a cup and overflowing and trickling down into all of your internal organs softening all of the internal organs flowing down into all the cells in the body and the space between the cells so the whole of the body the whole of the trunk of the body is deeply relaxed.
And drifting further down to the pelvis and the buttocks region down to the thighs,
The knees,
The calves,
Ankles and your feet right down to the tips of your toes.
Enjoying this peaceful pleasant experience a soothing drowsiness is coming over your whole body from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
You continue to feel calmer more relaxed more deeply relaxed and now as you lie there with your eyes closed you are so relaxed and comfortable and happy that you continue moving into a more peaceful state.
It may seem like you are drifting into a state of sleep there may be times when it seems like my voice is a long distance away and there may be times when I'm talking to you that you will not be consciously aware of my voice and that's okay because your subconscious mind is still receiving every word I say.
In this deeply relaxed state I want you to imagine we're going on a journey imagining now that you're in the middle of a rainforest.
It's early morning there is a freshness and coolness in the air a beautiful morning mist and seeing the rays of sunlight as they make their way down through the canopy to the forest floor.
Notice the ancient trees that form the canopy the tree ferns the rock orchids all of the beauty of nature in this ancient rainforest.
Hearing the sounds of nature the birdsong it is so beautiful and peaceful here.
Up ahead you'll notice that there's a path and I'd like you now to follow that path as it meanders up the hill to the top of the mountain.
Just taking your time to taking the beauty that surrounds you as you journey up to the top of the mountain and as you step out at the top of the mountain onto a beautiful open area for a moment your breath is taken away because of the sheer beauty and magnificence of the view.
You can see down the valley below rainforest as far as the eye can see there is a mist in the valley you can feel the warmth of the morning sun on your face there are white fluffy clouds in the sky and there's a gentle breeze on your face.
Just taking a moment in silence to experience this beautiful view.
Alors words jungle.
And now in the distance you can see a gate.
Walking over to that gate and opening it.
Stepping through and close the gate after you.
Stepping into a magnificent garden.
This can be a garden of your choice.
A manicured garden with flowers and shrubs.
Or a more natural garden.
You can do anything in your imagination and this is your special garden,
Your special place.
You might like to imagine that you take your shoes off and feel your feet on the soft green grass.
Venturing further into the garden,
Up ahead you hear the sound of a waterfall.
Making your way to this waterfall you'll see a pool of crystal clear fresh water.
Water that is glistening in the morning sunlight.
There's a waterfall cascading down forming rainbows as the sunlight hits the water.
This water is just the right temperature and depth for you.
Make your way into this crystal clear pool of water.
You can either swim,
Float or walk over to the waterfall.
The water is so clear you can see to the bottom of the pool.
Under the waterfall there's a large boulder.
Sitting on that boulder and allow the water to wash over you.
To wash through you so that you feel refreshed.
Refreshed and cleansed of any stress,
Anxiety,
Worry or fear.
Letting it all go.
There is no need to hang on to these feelings.
Perhaps giving these feelings a color and see that color washing away.
Washing over you,
Washing through you until you see it dilute into the pool of water.
Feeling refreshed and getting ready to leave this magical place now.
Make your way to the edge of the pool.
Feeling free of anxiety and stress.
Allow yourself to sit or lie on the soft green grass as you feel the warmth of the sun on your body.
Warming and drying you.
Breathing in that healing warmth of the sun.
Breathing it into every part of your being,
Into every cell in your body.
Now making your way back to the garden.
Up ahead you will notice a mist.
This mist can be the color of your choice.
A color that represents all of the positive things in your life.
Joy,
Calmness,
Ease,
Confidence,
Peace,
Happiness and balance.
Stepping into that mist and breathing that mist in so it infiltrates every part of your being.
Breathing in the qualities that are now part of you,
Part of your life.
The ability to relax,
Be calm,
To be present,
To be happy and to be at peace with your life.
This life of contentment,
Ease and comfort.
You feel free now.
Your unconscious mind is now showing you your hidden gifts and your internal resources.
You now have the ability to overcome anxiety easily.
Which means you will have an extremely powerful appreciation for your peaceful and calm life.
Getting ready to leave this place now.
Making your way back through the garden and to the gate.
Stepping through that gate and closing the gate after you.
Knowing that this is your special place and you can visit here anytime.
Bringing back all of the positive qualities with you.
Qualities of peace,
Contentment,
Calmness,
Joy,
Happiness and the ability to be fully present.
Making your way out to the top of the mountain and down the path back to the center of the rainforest.
Before you leave this place you will notice that there's an ancient boulder in the middle of the rainforest.
Taking a moment to step onto that boulder and to look up at the canopy of the rainforest.
Standing under the rays of sunlight streaming down upon you.
Get in contact with your sense of gratitude.
Gratitude for all that you have in your life.
Your family,
Friends,
Your health.
Breathe in that sense of appreciation and gratitude for all that you have in your world.
Now in a moment,
Not now but in a moment,
I'm going to count from one to three and at the count of three you will open your eyes feeling relaxed,
Alert and simply fantastic.
Every part of you will be back to normal except your all-knowing unconscious mind is always ready to support you.
As the days,
Weeks and months go by you will find yourself experiencing more and more confidence,
More calmness,
Happiness and certainty.
Because your unconscious mind is your friend it will surprise you with feelings of composure,
Peace and ease in seemingly stressful situations.
All of these suggestions seal themselves now in the deepest part of your subconscious mind and take complete and thorough effect upon your mind,
Your body and your spirit.
Making you feel relaxed,
Clear-headed,
Vigorous and completely restored in every way.
Taking a few moments in your own silence,
In your own inner world and during those moments these ideas are reinforced over and over again.
And now know that each and every suggestion that I have given you is reinforced ten times over as we now start to bring our attention back into the here and now.
Starting to bring your awareness back into the room,
Lengthening your breath and feeling the energy start to flow back into your body.
Starting to take notice of any sounds within the room or outside of the room.
Feeling your feet on the ground,
Perhaps starting to bring some movement back into your body and starting the count of three now and at the count of three you're going to be fully awake and alert and present.
So number one,
Feel the energy flowing back into your feet and up through your legs.
Number two,
Energy is now flowing through the trunk of your body,
Up through your chest,
Down to your arms and your fingertips.
Energy is freely flowing now right through the whole body.
Almost there now,
Fully alert and awake.
Number three,
Fully alert and awake.
Now please take some time to get a glass of water and give yourself some time to ground yourself before you begin with your everyday tasks.
