I see emotions as a life energy that wants to move through us, showing up in the shape of sensations or feelings in the body. When we are open, soft and spacious, we can truly allow life to move through. This meditation is made to support you in this practice.

This is a meditation to let life move through you.

I invite you to find yourself a comfortable position.

You can either lie down,

Sit or stand up.

And whenever you are there,

Take a moment to check in with your body.

And notice if there is anything you can change in your position to bring more ease and softness.

And take a deep breath towards your belly.

And with the out breath,

Maybe you can soften a little bit more.

And then bring your awareness to your breath,

Your natural breath.

And notice how your breath is moving in and out of your body.

Notice how this natural breath is moving through you.

Notice the movement in your body.

And then bring your attention to your body,

Your bodily sensations.

Gently move your awareness through your body.

Notice the sensations.

Notice the energy that is moving through your body.

Showing up as the sensations that you are noticing right now.

And notice the emotion that wants to move through you in this moment.

Allow yourself to be soft and open.

And let the emotion that is present for you move through your body.

What sensations are connected to this emotion for you?

Just observe those sensations.

Observe how this emotion is moving through your body.

You might find yourself distracted by thoughts.

Simply trying to figure out why this emotion is there in this moment.

Allow yourself to bring your awareness back to the sensations.

Be aware of the energy that is moving through your body.

Allow your body to be soft,

Open,

Spacious.

Supporting the emotion to move through you.

Wanting life to move through you.

Trusting life.

Wanting life to move through you.

Open,

Soft,

Spacious.

Notice the sensations.

Notice the energy.

Wanting all of that to move through you.

To let life move through you.

Soft,

Open,

Present.

And whenever you are distracted,

Bring your awareness back to the sensations,

To the energy,

The light that wants to move through you.

Let it move.

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Take a deep breath to your chair belly.
