Find a comfortable position lying down and settle in.
Inhale,
Become aware of your breath,
Then exhale and relax.
Focus fully on the sound of my voice and your inner experience.
Step inside your body and your inner landscape with your awareness and give yourself permission to sense what you feel.
Begin to yawn and stretch and make any gentle movements with your body that help you cozy in and feel more at home in your body and with your body.
If any distracting thoughts arise,
Imagine they are helium-filled balloons that you release and let go of as they float up and slowly disappear into the sky.
Feel free to drift off to sleep at any time during this guided experience,
Knowing you will still receive the full benefits.
Notice that each breath is like the ebb and flow of the ocean.
The exhalation is the ebb,
The outgoing phase.
When the tide drains away from the shore and the breath flows out of your body,
The inhalation is the flow.
The incoming phase,
When water rises again and your breath fills and replenishes your body.
Imagine you're a dolphin gently swimming in the breath ocean that's all around you.
Become more aware of the ebb and flow of your breath.
Sense that you are in the midst of this breath ocean of life with fresh,
Friendly air all around you in every direction.
And just as every drop of water in the ocean is part of the ocean,
So are you a part of this vast,
Welcoming breath ocean.
Feel your oneness with the infinite ocean.
Enjoy being comforted and nourished as you are floating in and on the vast ocean of breath.
Let this slow motion wave of your breath be your friendly companion as you bring your full awareness to the center of your chest and feel it with your heart.
Sense the center of your chest is in the center of all that is.
Now,
Become aware of the area outside your shoulders and extend your awareness farther and farther away from the sides of your body,
Outwards into the infinite breath ocean that you are floating in.
Bring your full attention to the center of your head and rest your focus there.
Become more aware of the center of your head.
Now bring your awareness to the area around your head in all directions into infinite,
Vast space of this breath ocean,
Extending farther and farther away.
How far can your awareness go?
Scan your body with your inner sensors and find an area that's calling for your attention.
Then direct the expansion of your inhalation into that area,
Which creates an inner massage.
And as you exhale,
Let all tension flow out of your body.
What do you feel in that area now?
Find another area in your wonderful body that would welcome an inner massage.
Use your intention and the movement,
That expansion of your inhalation into that area to create that massage.
At the fullness of your next inhalation,
Hold your breath for a moment,
Then exhale,
Relaxing,
Releasing,
Letting go.
What sensations are you aware of now in your body?
Imagine that you are lying on the most comfortable bed ever and feel yourself sinking back and down,
Knowing that it's safe to relax,
It's safe to rest,
It's safe to completely let go.
Now,
Allow yourself to drift off to sleep at any time,
Knowing at your deepest knowing,
You will still receive the full benefits of this guided experience.
Sense a comforting,
Healing light that is now immersing the crown of your head,
Gently massaging your scalp and bathing your entire head and face with soothing,
Dreamy energy.
Take your time as that luminous relaxation permeates your neck,
Throat,
And shoulders.
Feel your body letting go as this radiance slowly bathes your upper arms,
Elbows flowing into your lower arms,
Wrists,
Hands,
And fingers.
Feel how easy it is to relax even more as the light of oneness gracefully infuses your chest and abdomen and your back,
The upper,
Middle,
And lower areas,
All filled with light,
Your entire torso basking in this serene energy.
Feel this calming light bathing your pelvic region and it gently relaxes your hips and thighs and is smoothly saturating your knees,
Lower legs,
Ankles,
Feet,
And toes,
Helping you relax even more.
Your entire body and being are completely filled and surrounded with this soothing,
Healing light which continues to relax and comfort you with every breath.
It is becoming easier and easier for you to fall asleep when and where you choose.
