Welcome to this short evening tapping practice to really create a bridge from your day of doing and into your time for being.
So we're going to clear any residual tension from your day,
Really allowing your mind and body to transition into that state of restful presence.
Okay so get yourself nice and comfortable and then start tapping on the side of the hand.
You're repeating after me either in your mind or out loud.
Even though I'm carrying the momentum of everything I did today.
I acknowledge the day behind me.
And I choose to treat myself with kindness.
Even though part of me feels like it still needs to fix or organize or finish or plan.
I give myself permission to pause and set down the day.
Even though it's really hard sometimes to switch off from that doing mode.
I release the need to accomplish anything else right now.
And I deeply and completely love and accept myself,
Just as I am tonight.
Moving to the eyebrow point.
I notice any kind of leftover urgency or busyness in my body.
Without dodging it.
Side of the eye,
I gently put down the mental checklist and the urge to prepare for tomorrow.
Under the eye,
I give my mind permission to slow down and come out of productivity mode.
So as you tap here under the eye,
You might like to say to yourself,
Hey mind,
Thanks for working so hard today.
But it's okay to rest now.
Take a breath here in through the nose.
And slowly out through the mouth.
Lovely,
Well done.
Under the nose.
It's safe to let the doing end.
And allow my focus to soften.
Chin points.
Allowing my body to soften too So tapping slowly as we soften through the body,
Unclenching the jaw.
Lowering the shoulders.
Us relaxing any tension or tightness in the body.
And inviting in rest.
Collarbone points.
I cross the bridge from doing to being.
So you might like to imagine here just taking a gentle step over a lovely peaceful bridge.
And as you step onto the other side,
A warm soothing stillness settles into your core.
And it signals to every single cell that the tasks of the day are left behind and it's safe to just be here now.
It's safe to just be now.
The human being.
Being.
Under the arm,
Feeling grateful for my day.
And grateful for this time to rest.
Top of the head,
Honouring all that I accomplish today.
And welcoming stillness into my evening.
Okay,
Lovely.
Well done.
Stop tapping there.
Take a breath in.
And exhale slowly,
Really fully feeling yourself settle into your body.
And remember that that lovely space of being is always there.
It's always waiting for you.
You don't need to earn your rest tonight.
You can simply cross that bridge and step into it.
Thank you so much for tapping with me tonight.
Rest well,
Lovely human being.
