Welcome to this summer grounding EFT tapping session.
If you've been flat out trying to keep up with everything that summer brings,
This is your invitation to pause.
Let's find some steadiness together.
We'll begin then with a nice deep breath in through the nose.
And then slowly out through the mouth.
Then start tapping on the side of the hand repeating after me either in your mind or out loud.
Even though I feel scattered and stretched thin this summer.
I'm allowing myself this moment to pause.
Even though there's so much pressure to do it all and be everywhere.
I acknowledge how tiring that feels.
Even though part of me worries that slowing down means missing out.
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
And then moving to the eyebrow points.
This feeling of being scattered.
Side of the eye.
Like there's so much pulling at my attention.
Under the eye.
The pressure to keep up.
The pressure to slow down.
Under the nose.
My mind feels busy even when my body is still.
Chin points,
This sense of always being switched on.
Collarbone points.
I feel like I should be doing more.
Spending more.
Looking summer ready,
Whatever that means.
Under the arm.
It's exhausting comparing my summer to others.
And trying to keep pace with everything.
Top of the head.
I acknowledge all these pressures and how overwhelming they can feel.
Back to the eyebrow points.
And then there's this fear of missing out.
Side of the eye,
Like everyone else is doing more than me.
Under the eye.
The pressure to say yes to everything.
Over committing and over spending.
Under the nose.
What if I slow down or say no and then regret it?
Chin points.
I notice this pressure and I let it be here for now.
Collarbone points.
Maybe I don't have to compete with everyone else's summer.
Under the arm.
My pace doesn't have to match anyone else's.
Top of the head.
What if I'm allowed to choose what's right for me?
Okay so for this next round we're just going to take a moment to reflect a little.
Just tap and listen to my words.
I'll guide you through the points and you don't need to say anything out loud.
So tapping on the eyebrow points.
Perhaps thinking back over the summer so far.
Or even summers and years gone by.
Side of the eye.
Is there something that you said yes to out of pressure rather than desire?
Under the eye.
Maybe it was a social event that you didn't really want to go to.
Maybe it was filling a free weekend with plans instead of rest.
Maybe it was saying yes to hosting or travelling or just generally being available for everyone else.
Or maybe it was the pressure to make the most of every single sunny day.
To be super productive,
To be active,
Or to be social,
Even when you didn't feel like it.
Under the nose.
There's no need to judge it or fix it.
Just notice if anything comes to mind.
Chin points.
Maybe it's something around money.
Saying yes to a day out,
An event or a holiday,
Because it felt easier than saying no.
Or scrolling online and seeing other people who seem to have so much more to spend,
So much more freedom,
And then really feeling that gap between their summer and yours.
Collarbone points.
Or maybe it's something quieter than that.
Perhaps just seeing photos of people you know all together somewhere and feeling that little pang of being left out.
How hurtful that can feel.
Maybe it's noticing that everyone else's summer looks fuller or busier or just more together than yours.
Or maybe it's something around how you look and feel.
Seeing people who look slim or fit or healthy and then feeling reminded of your own perceived flaws recognising that there's a certain pressure this time of year to look a certain way under the arm.
And maybe underneath all of this is a voice,
A voice that knows what you actually need,
Even if you haven't been listening to it lately.
Would it feel like to listen to that voice a little more,
Even just slightly?
Top of the head.
You don't have to act on anything right now,
Just allow yourself this moment of honesty and space.
What would that inner wisdom say you need most right now?
I'll give you a moment to just listen.
What do you need most right now?
Okay,
So if an answer hasn't come up yet,
That's okay too.
Clarity doesn't always arrive exactly when we go looking for it,
Just be open to things surfacing later.
Perhaps in a quiet moment while you're doing something else entirely or even when you sleep tonight.
Knowing that your inner wisdom already knows what you need.
You don't have to chase it,
You can trust that it will rise up when it's ready.
For now though,
It's enough that you just ask that question and you gave yourself a little space to listen to that inner wisdom.
Okay well done let's return now to regular tapping so whatever came up for you whether it was about money or comparison that pressure to always be on we're going to tap now for some permission and ease tapping on the eyebrow points.
I give myself permission to slow down.
Side of the eye.
My life and rhythm is allowed to look different to everyone else's.
Under the eye.
I don't have to feel every single moment or every weekend.
Under the nose,
Rest can be productive too.
Chin points.
I release the guilt that comes with slowing down.
Or the guilt that comes with saying no to plans or to spending.
Letting go.
Collarbone point.
It's safe for me to take things at my own pace.
Under the arm.
I'm allowed to say no even to good things.
Even when it feels like everyone else is saying yes.
Top of the head.
My energy matters and deserves protecting.
Back to the eyebrow points.
I'm choosing to notice this moment of calm.
Side of the eye.
The small things count too,
Even when they're just for me.
Under the eye.
I can find calm in the ordinary.
Under the nose.
I don't need a big moment or big budget to feel content.
Chin points.
I'm allowing myself to enjoy the simple things in life.
Collarbone points.
There's enough time for what truly matters to me.
Under the arm.
I'm here right now and that's enough.
Top of the head,
I'm grounded in this present moment.
Okay let's just do one more round with some nice positive affirmations.
Tapping on the eyebrow points.
I am calm,
Even in a busy season.
Side of the eye.
I move at a pace that feels right for me,
Not anyone else's.
Under the eye,
I trust myself to know what I need.
Under the nose.
I'm allowed to rest and to play without needing to prove anything.
Chin points.
I'm present for the moments that matter,
Exactly as they are.
Exactly as I am.
Collarbone points.
I allow healing warmth to comfort me.
And as you keep tapping gently on the collarbone just bring your awareness inward for a moment.
Imagine a warmth beginning to glow somewhere in your chest or your belly and this is your own steady internal warmth It doesn't need to come from anywhere outside of you.
It's already here.
And let that warmth spread slowly.
Down through your arms,
Into your hands,
Your fingertips.
And down your body into your legs,
Your feet.
Grounding you into the chair or the floor beneath you.
And this warmth is comforting you,
Reassuring you.
Grounding you.
This warmth is yours and it moves at its own pace,
Just like you're allowed to.
Well done,
So back to tapping under the arm.
I honour my own rhythm.
Top of the head.
I'm at peace with how I choose to spend my summer.
Okay and stop tapping there,
Place your hands on your heart center and take a deep breath in.
And slowly let go.
Feel that warmth still glowing inside of you,
It's yours to carry with you.
And if anything came up for you today that doesn't feel resolved yet,
Trust that your inner wisdom is already working on it,
In its own time,
In its own way.
You don't have to do it all this summer.
Your pace,
Your way is just perfect.
And it's enough.
Thank you for tapping with me.
Take care.
