This meditation will help you move from the mind to the heart. The duration is intentionally short so that you can listen to it many times during the day, to take a beautiful and calming peaceful pause. These pauses will help you feel renewed and you will be able to move from grounded energy. The thoughts of the mind create stress and anxiety, and the silence of the Heart reveals peace and calm. The mind is closeness and the Heart is the Openness of the Now.

Hello and welcome to this guided session.

The ego looks at the world with a belief in division.

Me here and the other there.

Me here and the world out there.

It reinforces the subject-object divide.

The true self,

Spirit or consciousness looks at life from a perspective of inclusion and oneness as it is the omnipresent source of all life.

This short open eye meditation will help you move from the ego perspective to the divine perspective.

Place the index fingers of your left and right hand together in line with your eyes.

Let the fingers touch each other with the tips of the fingers pointing to the ceiling.

Now slowly,

Very slowly start separating them.

Notice the space between the fingers.

Keep moving the fingers slowly,

Keep noticing the space.

Keep doing this till the fingers move behind you and go out of focus.

Notice the space in the room.

Notice the openness.

Now slowly,

Very slowly start separating the fingers.

You have moved from the narrow focus of the ego to the openness and the oneness of the true self.

Take a peaceful pause many times during the day.

It is an act of love and kindness towards yourself.

It also helps us connect to our divine self so that love and grace can flow into our day.

Thank you.

Namaste.

Namaste.
