This is Susan Ginsburg with Stop and Breathe.

Sankalpa Image Visualization.

Please sit or lie down in a comfortable,

Quiet place and gently close your eyes if it's safe for you to do so.

If you're already doing so from a previous exercise,

Now is a good time to make any necessary movements or bodily adjustments to get as comfortable as you possibly can be.

Let's begin by softening your entire face.

Gently roll your shoulders down and away from your ears.

Connect with your breath as you begin to follow your inhalations and your exhalations.

Before we begin this visualization,

I'd like you to think of an intention or a resolution that you would like to see take place in your life at this moment.

In Sanskrit,

Which is the ancient language of yoga,

This is actually called a sankalpa.

This affirmation or sankalpa must be about you,

Related to your attitudes and your feelings.

It's best to state your affirmation or resolution positively and in the present tense as if it's happening.

For example,

I feel relaxed,

Calm,

And more at peace in my life is a great example of a sankalpa.

You can stop for a moment and think about a sankalpa.

Then when you're ready,

You can resume.

I will soon be saying the names of some beautiful images.

I would like you to picture each one fully as I state what it is.

I'll give you a few moments to visualize the image.

This helps stimulate your creative mind.

However,

If an image doesn't come up for one,

Don't worry,

Another one will soon follow.

The more you practice this,

The easier this becomes.

In between some of the images that I'm going to name,

I'm going to ask you to silently state your sankalpa.

Focus on breathing deeply and evenly.

Breathe fully and deeply into your entire body with each breath.

Ride the tide of your breath as you inhale and as you exhale.

Now silently state your sankalpa.

Take a moment to fully envision how it would look,

Feel,

And be when it manifests itself in your life,

Believing 100%,

No less,

In the idea that it absolutely will take place.

Repeat it in your mind two more times.

Picture a sunrise early in the morning,

Lighting up the entire sky.

Picture a star-filled night.

See a person meditating on top of a rock.

See some beautiful snow-capped mountains.

Picture a still lake.

Now state your resolution once again in your mind.

Take a few moments to fully visualize it coming to fruition.

Picture a flower blooming after a morning rain.

Picture a beautiful rainbow after a storm.

Picture yourself smiling and laughing and feeling great.

Imagine walking in a quiet forest.

Imagine taking a drive on a beautiful country road.

State your sankalpa or resolution in your mind.

Picture it as it manifests in your life at this very moment,

How it would look,

How it would feel,

How it would be in all aspects.

Picture a golden egg surrounded by a flame.

Imagine a vast field of lavender.

See your favorite flower in full detail.

Imagine standing at the foot of the ocean and watching the waves.

Now picture your own reflection in the mirror,

Looking and feeling happy and at peace,

Smiling,

Happy,

Peaceful.

I'd like you to state your sankalpa or resolution,

Affirmation one last time.

Fully visualize how it would look,

Feel and be as it takes place.

And noticing how you feel so much more at peace when it does.

Azzam sorry about the cut off.
