What are five things you can see?

Become aware of the glossy green of the plant in the corner.

Take your time to look at acknowledge what you see.

Say their names in a different language if you have the ability.

Describe them in detail.

Color,

Shape,

Size.

Take a moment to look around and acknowledge what arrives.

Four.

What are four things you can touch?

Notice the sensation of gravity itself or the floor beneath you.

Perhaps the cotton shirt you were wearing is itchy.

Describe the tool and the texture.

Spend the time to notice yourself touching.

Three.

What are three things you can hear?

Close your eyes,

If you wish,

And open your ears.

How far away can you hear?

Can you hear the spaces between the sounds?

Two.

What are two things you can smell?

Can you stop to smell the flowers or the light scent of coffee?

How are the scents soft,

Intense?

One.

What is one thing you can taste?

Take your tongue for a lap around your mouth and linger.
