
Amends - "Meditations For People Who Do Too Much"

One of the most important parts of achieving emotional health is making amends to those whom we've hurt in the past. This reading from "Meditations For People Who Do Too Much" (Oct. 22) guides us to make a list of those whom we've wronged. Then we need to make those amends, remembering that we don't do it to attain forgiveness, or to be liked, or to control or manipulate. We do so because it is necessary for us to become, and stay, emotionally healthy.
