Thanksgiving,
Celebrated at the end of November in the US for almost 400 years,
Is a great reminder for us to reflect on all we are grateful for in our lives.
People spend time together to celebrate all that they have.
What if we were to spend time in gratitude just for who we are and what we have created?
Giving thanks is so powerful to help,
Accept and love unconditionally.
It is impossible to stay angry,
Upset or in judgment when we are in a state of being truly thankful.
This is the first in a series of meditations providing transformation and healing through gratitude,
Taking it to the next level and help awaken more fully into consciousness.
It's time to open our hearts to healing,
Forgiveness and thanks for ourselves and all we are.
Setting the intention just to let go of what no longer serves us and creating the space for higher vibrational feelings to wash over us.
Today we will focus on the physical body and developing a more loving and accepting relationship with it.
So let's tune in,
Take a nice deep breath into your heart space,
Coming to the here and now.
And then take another breath into your heart and see that breath go up through your throat,
Through your head out through your crown.
Breathing in and out of the great central sun,
The source of who you are,
God,
The universe.
Take a breath in and bring that back down through your head and throat,
Through your heart,
Torso,
Abdomen,
Down through your root,
Down deep into the earth below.
Breathe into the core crystal at the centre of the earth.
For this is where the blueprint is held,
How we're supposed to live our lives with love,
Joy,
Freedom,
Acceptance and abundance.
And with your breath,
Bring that energy back up through your feet,
Legs,
Root,
Torso and then breathe out through your heart space,
Radiating out that love and light 360 degrees.
So you can feel open to your soul space,
To what's truly important to you,
Returning to the truth of who you are.
So let's bring in some affirmations to help us establish our relationship with our body,
How we wish to change,
How we wish to forgive and how we wish to set an intention for having a better relationship with the temple that we house our souls in.
I am so grateful for my physical body,
For its functioning to the best of its capacity every single day of my life so far.
I am grateful I don't have to remember how to make it work,
It just does.
I am grateful for this reminder of trust in its ability,
Of nature to take care of itself.
For the reminder we do not have to be in control of everything.
When we show our bodies love,
Respect and care,
They respond with optimal well-being to the best of its ability in that moment.
For the times that I have neglected my body,
Taken it for granted,
Abused it and not listened to it,
I am truly sorry.
For all the times I fed my mind with what I thought it wanted and didn't respect my body would choose differently.
For all the times I didn't find out what was right for my body in terms of nutrition,
Exercise and care,
I am truly sorry.
For all the times I judged my body,
Making it not good enough when I compared myself to others and craved to be a different shape and size,
I am truly sorry.
I take full responsibility at a mind,
Body and spirit level for being exactly how I am and I love myself for it no matter what.
I am grateful that each day I get to choose how I treat my body and start over in every moment.
I know by fully accepting this glorious temple I have been blessed with,
No matter what shape,
Size or condition,
It is perfect for me.
It gives me an opportunity each and every day to ask from my heart,
Not my mind.
Dear body,
What is it you truly long for today?
What nourishment do I need?
What movement is good for me?
Do I need to rest?
Do I need just to be?
I know when I can truly feel the high vibration of the food in front of me,
It is serving me and nourishing me.
I bless everyone and everything that has contributed to this meal.
When it feels that no thought went into it,
It has been thrown together,
It is highly processed and doesn't feel natural,
I find it so much easier to make the choice of no,
It doesn't serve me.
I am so grateful that this simple moment of mindfulness means I serve my body.
I know by showing my body this love,
Acceptance and surrender to the fact that every single cell in my body is able to return to its optimal state of well-being.
I can hold the space to create more vitality and energy than I ever thought possible.
I am so grateful my body is willing to forgive me for all the times I disrespected it and I promise here and now to listen with my heart to what my body is telling me.
I am so grateful to return my body to self-love every single day.
I know I can call upon these affirmations and reminders any time I choose as my body deserves my love.
No one else can love my body like I love my body.
For all the times I haven't heard and listened to my body and not respected it,
Not treated it as it deserves,
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
And in this moment I ask that any belief known or hidden,
Any subconscious belief,
Any past life programming,
Any soul contract that you have that is stopping you from giving your body the love it deserves,
From the patterns of self-sabotage,
From the choices we make that aren't healthy each and every day.
We ask that all these patterns,
Beliefs and thought processes today to be dissolved,
Deleted,
Un-stored,
Decreated across all time,
Space,
Dimensions and realities and shown the divine white path for healing.
Instead I call in the energies of light,
Love,
Forgiveness,
Compassion.
So I may once again start respecting this temple.
I love my body no matter what.
Whatever its shape or size,
I love it.
It deserves to be loved and there's no one else that can love my body like I can.
I know when I start showing my body this respect,
It will serve me,
It will return to the optimal state of wellbeing and for that I am truly thankful.
I ask with this divine light and love in my heart and my commitment to acknowledging my body and listening to it that I may return to full alignment with my mind,
Body and soul and create a new level of energy and vitality to live the life I choose.
I am ready to promise my body the recognition of what it truly wants each and every day and I will do my best to listen to what my body tells me.
I will not judge or make myself wrong in the moments I make a different choice.
I will merely start over and be conscious of what I am choosing in this moment.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to heal and replenish the physical temple I have been blessed with in this lifetime and so it is.
Namaste.
