Welcome back to another self fitness meditation.

This time in the context of current world events in June 2020.

Let's embark on a meditation of unity.

A meditation that will bring us all together.

No matter what country you're in,

No matter where you are right now.

Let's join together in a place of unity and oneness.

So find yourself in a position which is comfortable.

You can either be sitting down on a chair or you can be lying down on a bed.

Just make sure that no limbs are crossed and make sure of course you're sitting in a comfortable position and that no one will come and disturb you.

If you're sitting on the chair or lying on the bed,

Notice your feet against the floor.

Notice your body at each place that it's making contact with either the chair or the ground.

Feel yourself coming to a place of warm relaxation.

Take a big deep breath in through your nose.

Fitting yourself with air and as you breathe out just feel yourself just relaxing the whole body letting go all the stress and all the tension.

Once again a big deep breath in through your nose.

Hold for a few seconds and then breathing out.

We're going to add some rhythm to our breathing.

So we're to breathe in for the count of three,

Hold for the count of three and out for the count of four.

So let's breathe in together on three.

Hold for three then out for four.

Breathe in for three,

Hold for three and out for four.

Once again breathing in for three,

Hold for three and out for four.

Feeling your whole body come to a state of relaxation,

Calm,

Find yourself in a place of relaxation,

Taking some time out from our lives to reconnect to ourselves,

To our true inner core.

We really are.

So gradually feel your body come to that state of rest.

Focus now on your big toe of your right foot,

Touch it with your mind and send it to sleep.

All the toes of your right foot,

Your whole right foot from the heel all the way to the toes feels now warm and relaxed.

Now focus on your right leg from your heel all the way up to the top of your thigh.

Feeling warm,

Heavy and relaxed.

Now to your left foot,

All the toes of your left foot starting with your big toe,

Touch it with your mind and send it to sleep.

All the toes of your left foot,

Your whole left foot,

From the heel all the way to your toes feels warm,

Heavy and relaxed.

Now from your heel all the way up to the top of your thigh,

Your left leg,

Feeling it warm,

Heavy and relaxed,

Send it to sleep.

Keep the breathing,

Big deep breaths in through your nose and out,

Focusing on your right hand now,

Power of your right hand,

Be aware of it and send it off to sleep.

Right forearm,

Upper arm,

Shoulder.

Now your left hand,

The might of your left hand,

Feel it dissipate and go to sleep.

Your left forearm,

Left upper arm,

All the way up to your left shoulder,

Warm,

Heavy,

Relaxed.

Take a big deep breath in into your tummy and feel your tummy there and doing so replenish all the cells,

Bring health and vitality to your tummy area as you now send it to sleep,

Pushing out the air.

Any toxicity,

Any negativity,

Tummy feeling warm,

Heavy and relaxed,

All the way up front to your neck and now your back,

Starting at the bottom of your back all the way up each vertebrae moving slowly up,

Slowly up even more.

Right shoulder blades,

Left shoulder blades,

Nape of your neck,

Feel everything from your neck down,

Feels warm,

Heavy and relaxed.

Now finally your right ear,

The right side of your face,

The left ear,

The left side of your face,

Your chin,

Your mouth,

Your teeth,

Tongue,

Nose,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

Being aware of every part of your body,

Also being aware of it being in a state of relaxation and repose,

Being replenished and refreshed as you breathe in again now.

In for the count of three,

Hold for three and out for four.

In for three,

Hold for three and out for four.

In this space that we hold right now,

Where we feel the shell of the body melt away,

We come back home to ourselves,

To our true essence,

The Telem Elokim,

The Hebrew word which means the image of God,

The image of God that is in each and every single one of us.

We take down the barrier of the body.

We can open the door and become accustomed to and become used to and become comfortable around the true essence,

The spark within each and every one of us,

Which is the Telem Elokim.

Right now the world is just rescinding and recovering from a spate of violence and hardship.

The truth is when we understand that we were all created,

The Telem Elokim in the image of God,

That it makes no sense for us to ever see another person and judge them by the color of their skin.

Because when we see the color of skin,

We see body.

And when we see body,

We see barrier.

When I see me and you are separate because of your otherness,

If I'm scared of you because of your otherness,

It's because I can't see through into your Telem Elokim.

When I can't see through your exterior,

I'm ignoring the holy spark burning inside.

When I see other,

I'm misreading a situation because the truth is there is no other.

We are all being sustained from the same source.

We are all rooted from the same place.

We are all created in God's image.

Unless we take some time out to feel it within,

To sense it within,

To be at home with that,

Then we will forever be blighted because we will never be able to truly look at other people as a window to their godly soul.

And instead we'll be blinded by color or shape or accent or any other part of that person which is different to me.

Take a final big deep breath in,

Feel yourself with air,

Feel yourself with light,

Feel yourself with love and then breathe out.

When you're ready,

You can come back tapping yourself lightly and rejoin and wherever you walk,

Wherever you go,

Don't forget to open your eyes,

Don't forget to see through the exterior,

Don't forget that we are all one.
