Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can fully relax,
Getting comfortable and ready for sleep.
Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath before sighing and releasing all the tension in your body.
All you have to do is listen to the sound of my voice and imagining and visualizing the scenes that I'm going to be describing to you.
Using your breath as your anchor into relaxation throughout this journey.
Whenever you feel tension building,
Knowing that you can simply breathe,
Imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a charming winter cabin.
The air is crisp and refreshing,
And as you open the door,
You feel the warmth inviting you inside.
As you step across the threshold,
You take a moment to look amongst the cozy atmosphere.
The scent of wood,
Pine,
And a crackling fire welcomes you,
For this cabin is for you and you alone.
It is a special place for you to retreat to when you're tired of dealing with the stresses of the day.
A place you can journey to whenever sleep is eluding you.
Walking towards the fireplace,
Notice how the dancing flames cast a gentle glow on the rest of the cabin.
Take a moment to kindle the fireplace,
Adding some more wood.
As the warmth radiates throughout the space,
The flames flicker and you can feel the melting away of all your stress.
All of your tension is just evaporating.
It is dissipating.
It is being absorbed by the comforting fireplace.
Next to the fireplace,
There is a copper kettle gently simmering.
It has been kept warm for you by the fireside.
Along the shelf beside the fireplace are assorted teas and herbs for you to make the most perfect cup of warm tea.
You choose chamomile,
Lavender,
And peppermint,
All soothing herbs and flowers that encourage a deep sleep.
As you pour the cup,
The tendrils of steam curl in the air around you,
And the beautiful,
Big mug is warm against your hands.
It is the perfect temperature,
And as you take the first sip,
You let the warmth of the tea radiate through your body,
Bringing comfort and relaxation.
With your tea in your hand,
You can now explore the rest of the cabin.
One of the rooms features a soft,
Inviting bed covered with plush blankets.
Setting your mug on the bedside table,
You cannot resist but allow your body to sink into the softest mattress you have ever felt.
Letting all the remaining tension completely fade away,
And as you settle into the soft,
Soft bed,
Outside the window,
Snow is falling so gently and silently.
It coats the winter landscape outside,
Creating heavy branches of pine trees,
Covering the ground in its soft,
White blanket.
Imagine that every snowflake that falls represents a peaceful thought,
And you allow them to accumulate,
Creating a blanket of tranquility around you.
And as you lie in your cozy cabin bed,
I give you permission to let go of any thoughts or worries.
Allow the soothing sounds of the crackling fire and falling snow to guide you into a deep state.
You are so incredibly tired.
You are so incredibly relaxed in your wintry cabin retreat.
You are so safe.
You are so cozy.
You couldn't possibly stay awake a moment longer.
Everything about your surroundings is encouraging you to fall asleep,
And you do not need to resist at all.
You can completely let go now.
Just listen to the sounds of the fireplace,
And yourself be lulled into sleep.
